The healer shouted in pain, falling to his knees and keeping the shield up, fighting focus to hold his hands to his chest. The pain was visible, seeing as that's what shattered bone's does to a man. His hands began to glow, directing the healing magic towards himself now. "C-cover me." he wheezed desperately. The swordsman turned around in rage towards the girl, back stepping out of her strike just enough, only allowing her blade to glide slightly up his face, leaving a shallow cut but causing no further damage.
The girl would have no further luck with the archer either, as a bolt pierced straight into her as she charged him, her attack falling woefully flat. At this point, it wasn't even a challenge for the men anymore. Looking at the fallen allies around him, the swordsman spat towards the girl. "You didn't show us any mercy. So in return I'm showing you none." With that he approached the girl and plunged his sword deep through his chest, knocking her down to size as he ripped it back out. "These are for my fallen brothers!" He cried as he lifted his blade, aiming to deal one final blow and free her body of it's excess weight.
"STOP!" A commanding voice halted the blade mere centimeters from the girl's skin. Heavy footsteps thudded against the floor, trailed by yet another set of equally heavy feet. The archer steadied himself, panting behind his visor as the trio of survivors turned to face the source; the bandit leader. A man in heavy battle worn armor, ornately decorated in copper gilding paired with a tattered cape trailing behind. Behind him, a sleek, feminine form in clean silver armor trailed at the side. Bringing up the rear, a short gremlin like girl, bearing massive goggles and carrying an over sized healing staff scurried after. Upon seeing the mangled corpses, the girl almost immediately puked.
"But sir! She slaughtered EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. She killed our men, she killed Captain Peres! She deserves to die for what she did to us!" the swordsman stepped forwards, pointing his blade back to the battered girl.
"I'm certain she would feel the very same about us and our actions. She's simply an assassin who got lucky one too many times. She is no longer a threat." The bandit leader marched past the swordsman and loomed over Mania. Behind the dark visor, the sensation of judging eyes burned into the poor, bloodied girl. "You've failed. Begone from this place and never return."
