Heianu's expression didn't change but she watched the girl back off and heard a soft thump, letting her know the girl fell or something. She didn't care, she won and that's really all there was to it. Heianu let go of the ledge, dropping and igniting a flame under her feet to cushion the fall and move away from the points the lined the crags.
Heianu landed on the ground with a sigh. She overprepared for a fight against a nobody. Over-preparation is good in some cases, but she already wasted too much to drop the girl's guard just to light her up. Whatever, the unused items were going to be returned in the waiting room anyways.
She slid her hands in her pockets and walked over to the door she came out of, entering the room and looking around to find Zedd there, absolutely beaming. She gave him a quick nod before opening the pouch on her leg and pulling out the unused items brought in for the match and walking to the counter to place them. "She was an absolute push over.", Heianu said. What a waste of time for a match setup like that. "But nonetheless, seemed like your lucky charm worked. So we had something good on our side."

"That fight was still awesome! She didn't know what hit her. And using your equipment like that? Genius." Zedd was giddy as he bounded over to Heianu. It was as though the girl had her own personal hype man. "Everyone was impressed by that, even the Honors Ten! Number One himself even stopped by and left a message congratulating you. Heh, guess that necklace really is lucky."
A warm smile painted Zedd's features. "In that case, you can keep it. Consider it a token of our friendship. Or a welcoming gift! Or both." The young mage seemed to be in better spirits. Outside, the clouds had even rolled away. It left the world outside glittering with the fresh-fallen snow. Soon, the temperature would no doubt return to normal, and all traces of the weird event vanishing with it. It was a good sign, in Zedd's mind. Though, it was still going to take some moments before it warmed up enough for the duo to return outside.
Passing students called out congratulatory comments towards Heianu as they filtered out of the stadium. It seemed as though the girl had a growing fan club now. And true, while she may not have seen it as an impressive feet, for many it was a spectacular statement. A first year unknown bodying a third year in a single move. Everyone liked to see two titans duke it out, but there was something to be said for quick, ruthless efficiency as well. There was a reason why stories of overpowered fictional characters were gaining popularity. The young fire mage was just the physical embodiment of those tales.
Perhaps that was why Isaah had so much respect. However, his skills hadn't been seen in a long time, to the point where newer students were more convinced the number one honors student's prowess was more fantasy than fiction. Not like anyone actually challenged him to see, which probably said something towards the efficacy of those "myths."
"Look at that, you have fans." The young lightning mage piped up, nudging Heianu's arm. While most of the students were indeed focusing on the young woman, every so often Zedd would get a look of his own. Though, those gazes were less positive than the ones given towards his brazen companion. The boy was too busy with his excitement and joy right now to take notice, however. "Now that the drama has been taken care of, wanna make our way towards the library like we originally planned? Be a nice little bit of peace and quiet after that whole bunch of excitement."
Turquoise eyes shimmered as though filled with starlight. Before, the interactions with Zedd almost felt as though the boy had been dragging around dark clouds within his mind. But, it seemed they too had left along with the clouds that had originally snowed the duo back inside. This was how Zedd had been, a much more natural representation of how the young lightning mage acted. Hopefully that was something that Heianu was ok with sticking with, otherwise he's about to get very sad very quickly.

"It's important to conserve your mana in a fight. You run dry, you're left to wits and no magic. Dunno who the ten are, but I guess the acknowledgement is something nice." she said with a shrug. Heianu appeared to not care too much about the newmade fans. It's likely they were ones to have flings anyways, with a new favourite. She made a claim though, but it didn't feel like much with a pushover wind mage. Her aloof air seemed to be something that people found charming and cool of her. A few seemed to say she was like Isaah in terms of attitude.
"As long as they don't like, follow me around, the library sounds fine.", she said, ending with a bit of a sigh. She wasn't here to be popular, but it just happened to lay in place. At least for the most part, she gave students that seemed to be fawning over her victory a slight nod to at least acknowledge them. She kept her hands in her pockets as they walked, it was just comfier that way.
Thankfully at least she wasn't being treated like a celebrity. If they were being followed in the library, Heianu would step up her pace towards a window and see if it could be opened and passed through.

Thankfully these young adults, unsurprisingly, understood the importance of personal space. Shocker. Students who valued privacy, giving privacy to other students who value privacy? Absolutely unheard of. The autographs can come later, for now everyone seemed comfortable admiring Heianu from a distance. Though, from some passing students, it was clear that there were a good number who saw Zedd alongside her and immediately didn't know how to feel about it.
For his part, Zedd was completely unaffected by the looks he was getting. Not only was he friends with an honor's student that made a splash on her first day, he once again was friends with yet another one as well. Nothing could ruin this moment for him. Not even Damien.
This time, the duo's journey to the library would go uninterrupted. Within, it was a quiet, peaceful place. Those who were already within, busied themselves with their own studies. Only a few, hushed conversations could be heard. Some studying in groups. Others working on projects in pairs.
The library itself was a grand affair. The first floor itself was enough to rival the grand library, while the second floor that overlooked it was filled more with areas of study. The balcony that overlooked the first floor surrounding towering shelves, while a massive glass-domed skylight allowed natural light to filter in. On a second observation of the massive structure, it could be seen actually moving. Three parts rotated independently. The first two parts counted the time by minutes and hours, tracked by a metal arrow. Unlike other clocks, instead of the arrows moving to the designated time, it was the time that rotate to the arrow.
The main part of the superstructure seemed to track the movements of the sun and the moon, rotating subtly to always match where both celestial bodies were in the sky. Upon the glass, magical lines of glowing mana marked where constellations were positioned, fading, reappearing, or highlighting new constellations along with the shifting of the sky. A few students up on the second floor were even busy observing these movements, and casting small spells to replicate constellations of their own.
At present, the librarian was busy talking with an unremarkable man, with brown hair and white robes inscribed with blue runes. The only remarkable thing about him was that his satchel bore the insignia of the grand library. This... was not an unusual sight, though. Given the the closeness of both foundations and the vast sums of knowledge held within both the grand library and the academy library, some meetings were destined to happen.
Zedd led Heianu up to the second floor through a spiral staircase, finding it much clearer and more peaceful up top. Less cluttered, as well. A few glass cases held old relics for study and display. Some weapons, some armor pieces, a few old documents that had been copied for student studies, so on, so forth. The young lightning mage motioned towards a small table, settled next to a window overlooking the park area.
"This is a nice spot to relax and talk." The boy state, happily getting comfortable in one of the seats. Outside, the snow begun to melt. It appeared that unfortunately the cold, however brief, was still enough to wilt, or outright kill some of the flowers that previously bloomed so vividly. It was unfortunate, but hopefully they'd grow back in time.

Heianu settled on a seat at the other side of the window, leaning heavily over one side. "Okay so..." Heianu had a new question with that sad upstart of a wind mage gracing them with her pitiful existence. "Does everyone that has an issue with you act like that because of this Damien kid?" if that was the case, that was disgusting. His fanbase was no better. And he seemed to either not care about Zedd being treated thiswah or enforce it. She wasn't going to fight Damien on Zedd's behalf though. That was his own fight. But it didn't stop the green mage from feeling more than annoyed about it.
To think they would discredit hard work for talent and act like that makes them better... Heianu had talent. If it wasnt for her handicap, she was sure she would have a better time and rely less on items. But she couldn't say that she hated her handicap. In fact she wouldn't feel right if she was miraculously cured of it.

A pause. Without saying anything immediately, it seemed the young man was mulling over her question. Zedd's... reputation wasn't exactly spectacular, and the treatment he tended to get was, a lot of times, front and center on the main stage. The thing was... he was far from the only one who got this kind of shit. The young lightning mage was just the most readily apparent. Or, rather, just the most noticeable. But that didn't mean the whole school hated him, either.
"To be honest... a lot of this is pretty recent." Zedd shifted and shrugged, chin resting against the cold metal of his gauntlet's knuckles. "I wouldn't say I was exactly 'popular' beforehand, I still got a lot of heckling from Damien and some other students. But people still talked to me, treated me casually. The problem is now, because everyone knows Damien's got a target painted on my back, they all are scared to be around me. They're afraid that they'll be marked too. So, because no one wants to be near me anymore, that makes all the bad moments stand out a lot more."
"Sure, there's rumors and people are nervous and that makes them antsy. But for the most part, that's not totally normal. Just an vocal minority thing, you know?" Turquoise eyes flitted back towards the green haired mage. She had a subtle, intimidating aura, but at the same time she had good intentions... buried way, waaay deep beneath her... cold? Isolated? Antisocial exterior. It was difficult to sift through, but when you cracked just slightly through the shell, the boy could tell she had a good heart. Heianu was secretly nice, but trying to play it off with the whole "Too cool for school" bad-girl attitude, fused with a hefty serving of antisocial avoidance of, pretty much everyone. I'm lucky she decided to actually stick around, instead of bailing out on me once the tour was done. Zedd thought, fighting back the urge to crack an even bigger smile. With people like Heianu, it was really hard to get them to open up- or to even get them to stick around for long. She was a different breed from Isaah, with a lot less anger. Just a lot more apathy. Neutrality. In the silence of the library, all the problems felt just a bit more distant. The students studying the constellations giggled amongst themselves, playing with the magic they were practicing. A few kids down below shared quieted giggles over a board game they were playing. It was like a completely separate environment from most of the rest of the school. A hum escaped Zedd's lips as he watched the two other students playing with constellations, turning back towards Heianu.
"So, I've done a lot of talking, you've done a lot of asking. Now it's my turn to twist it back onto you. Just, tell me a bit about yourself. What made you want to come here, what are your aspirations, your dreams? What inspires you to do what you do. And, you know what, just for some added flavor, tell me about some of your favorite things- colors, musics, etc." Zedd leaned back with a grin. Gauntleted hands waved around in the air. "Figure, if we're friends, might as well learn a bit more about you to make it official, you know?"

Heianu shifted to sit sideways in the seat, a lot more relaxed that the 'normal way'. It felt less confrontational anyways, even if it was a more obscure way to sit in these overly large lush things. The antisocial air she held was fairly normal, but she would probably save a kitten out of a tree in a heartbeat.
She ran a hand back through her hair, moving it back and less out of her face. Though, despite the minimal effort in doing so, it just flopped back in place. Her face was neutral but her eyes kept on a natural ferocity, like she was ready to fight at any moment. He didn't seem to answer her question directly. There had to be a reason these students were picking on him, but it'd grow more apparent past that one windpipe she snuffed out with fire.
Her stare went from Zedd to the side. She really didn't like talking about herself, but it was fair he'd ask that. "I didn't come from a rich background in terms of money. But I came from one rich with magic.", she started. "However I...." She couldn't seem to share something in particular. Her eyes narrowed, a slight suspicion. She just met the guy. They were on friendly terms, sure, but she wasn't going to tell just anyone about this. He'd probably find out sooner or later without her saying anyways.
She sucked in a breath and then continued. "I appeared to be 'special'. I underwent abnormal sorts of training to cope with that." She crossed her arms. "I namely listen to rock and metal. It keeps my blood pumping for fighting. Favourite colour.... Hmm... I suppose black." You think she'd say green, didn't you? "...Dragons are pretty neat... Especially ones that drip with magma from their maw. That's some kind of power move there, yeah."

Hard too read, that's how Heianu had described herself. However, as they hung out, Zedd had started to pick up on many of the girl's mannerisms. It was getting easier to tell some of the things going on in her mind, though, to be fair, when one narrows their eyes at you it's a pretty safe bet that there's not a whole lot of trust. It made the young man worry if his calling her a friend was jumping to conclusions. Should I just call her an acquaintance instead...? The young mage certainly didn't want to upset the green haired girl. Zedd tried not to give in too much to the discomfort currently digging a pit in his stomach.
"I thought Black wasn't technically considered a color?" He teased, trying to lighten the mood back up a little bit more. I should probably already understand this from Isaah, not everyone can trust people as easily as I can. The boy chastised himself inwardly, before continuing. "Personally, favorite color is purple, favorite music is edm or dubstep, and look, dragons of all kinds are pretty cool. Let's not lie here."
A small grin tugged at the corners of his lips. Heianu did have a point about magma dripping drago's being really metal and totally a power move, but all dragons were pretty neat to him. The lightning mage went on. "I grew up middle class as well, sort of tucked into the upper section, so while we didn't have money for a lot of things, we still could live comfortably. You know? If we wanted anything specific, we had to scrounge up the money ourselves, and a lot of my summers were spent working in my dad's shop to raise money for some trinket or another. My background wasn't exactly magic rich though. Dad had some techniques but otherwise, that was it. My magic was way too frenetic to be counted as useful, at least until my dad built these gauntlets."
The metal clinked as the boy rapped his knuckles against the bronze-tinted shell. A light, whimsical chuckle escaped from his lips. Those same knuckles went to the back of his neck, rubbing at it awkwardly. "Sorry, I'm going off on tangents again. If I'm annoying you, you know you can always just tell me to quiet down, yeah?"
She was quiet. He was not. She was antisocial. He liked making people laugh. She was a stern, serious fighter. He was a manic goofball with bullying issues. What a fantastic pair they made. The only thing they really had in common was the fact that they both had some sort of issue with the way their magic worked. Still, Zedd liked to think, at least hope, that he didn't annoy the girl all too much. Heianu'd stuck around this long, right?
"Oh, right. The school festival is going to be happening soon. There's going to be food stands, different student run activities, and even a battle competition. One on one's, two on two's, team battles. Everyone's excited for it. You should take part in it!" Zedd paused. "Although Isaah's probably going to be taking part in the one vs one's, so maybe that's a bad idea... Well, you can still take part in the other stuff!"

Heianu shrugged. She wasn't really one to pay attention to what was a colour and what wasn't. When he went to explain his life story, she stared at the gauntlets. They were bulky but it fit his aesthetic well. "I'd let you know if you were." It seemed like she was the kind to tell him to back off. She didn't seem bothered at all so all was fine.
The idea of battle competitions seemed to strike Heianu's attention but it quickly faded. "I'm not much of a 'show' person.", she said. Though the idea of a two on two sounded interesting. But that would mean her partner in the match needs to be able to work with her. But that would also mean her secret is going to be quick to exposure. That's an uncomfortable thought. She wasn't insecure of her handicap, it's more that she liked keeping an element of surprise.
She sighed, it'd be impossible to keep secrets in a school full of students that practice magic combat. "So then what are you going to do in it?" She wanted to scope her options. She'd start with Zedd's thought process first, see what he was planning to do in the event.

A sense of relief washed over the young man. Happily, he didn't upset Heianu any. That was the one thing that the boy was really worried about. Maybe he was just too used to being berated by Isaah? Regardless, Zedd was still a bit surprised at how quickly the young woman quashed any sort of excitement. He'd noticed her attention piqued, only to quickly dash away. Curious. Instead of talking about her own ideas, she asked about his. The young lightning mage seemed slightly taken aback at the question and took a moment to think upon it.
"Hmm... well, I didn't really plan on participating in it myself. I was just planning on watching the solo's bout and cheering on Isaah. You too, if you got involved in it." Zedd leaned back in his seat. Recently defeated, that failed gambit still hung heavy on his mind. Left an awful taste on his tongue. "I dunno. If I had any friends who cared, I might have taken part in the duo's. Although, stepping back onto the battlefield still still leaves me wondering. I've improved since my last bout, I think, but I also would rather keep some of my trump cards hidden until I rematch Damien. I want to kick his face into the dirt unimpeded by him expecting what I'm going to do."
The boy's shoulders lifted into a shrug. "If I kick his ass before the school festival, then I wouldn't have any qualms. Otherwise, I'll probably be... eh...uh... hmm." Wait, he couldn't exactly do much right now with how everyone treated him. "Shit. I was going to say I'd be going around the stands, like to the maid cafe or to the haunted house but then I remembered everyone's avoiding me right now. Hm... shit."
Silence.
Pursing his lips, Zedd worked his jaw, wracking his mind. His expression and demeanor shifted slightly. Even someone who wasn't an empath could probably read Zedd like an open book right now. Metal fingers quietly scrapped and worked against the table. He was agitated. More than that, it felt as though he was bottling up a lot of pent up aggression. I'm going to plant his face in the fucking dirt. That's the promise I made to myself. And I'm not going to stop until I beat him. When I do that, then my life will finally return to normal. A few sparks of static popped off the young man, hair standing on end. Honestly, seeing him actually angry, even contained, was kind of a scary sight.
"I need to beat him." In an attempt to flip the switch back to something more casual, Zedd shrugged his shoulders and grinned back towards Heianu. He tried to appear casual, but with his hair on end and crackling with static, it was a pretty piss-poor attempt. "After I bury his head up his own ass I'll get back to you on my plans for the school festival. Sound like a plan?" Zedd was not an angry child. If anything, he was more whimsical and free-spirited. That was his natural state, and that's how he enjoyed living life. It's why he used to be fairly well liked before his fight. People who would bum around him to at least laugh at his jokes or hair-brained schemes. The problem was, Damien was fucking with Zedd's way of life now. Backed up into a corner and cut off from everything he used to love, he had no choice but to get really, really fucking annoyed.

Heianu stared at Zedd almost incredulously. Though her expression relaxed. The thought of losing the spar probably was on his mind. "I'd rather do duo matches personally.", she said with a shrug.
She listened to Zedd ramble. She pitied him a bit. People avoided him like some plague because of his background and now more because of some shitty cult. They seemed to be on the same page of keeping secrets on improvement but... Heianu wasn't sure of his abilities and what his progress was compared from then to now. He could be lying to himself about the progress made to reassure himself, but she wasn't sure.
His talking stopped, it seemed like he once again realised how alone he was that the festival wouldn't be something all that enjoyable while things were like this. She sighed and got up. She wasn't irritated with him, it was more that he didn't have a healthy coping mechanism if there even was one at all. She bapped the top of his head with the back of her hand gently and gave a nod to follow. Despite the sparks lining his hair, she didn't actually didn't seem to be all that bothered or harmed. It's likely she just managed to catch a moment between the sparks to where she didn't actually get hit at all.
Thankfully she remembered the main points of his earlier tour and just started to make her way towards the training rooms. Hopefully Zedd caught the message and followed her there.

Snapping and popping from all the static, he watched the girl circle around and... bop him on the head. Now, mind you, static wasn't strong enough to really hurt, but the fact that Heianu didn't get shocked at all was impressive. Zedd flinched at the tap and blushed slightly, embarrassment coloring his cheeks a very light red. The young man picked up on the hint, though, and slowly followed behind her. It felt like they had been making so many different trips around the school, the two barely had much time to settle in and get comfortable in one place for too long.
It took a moment, but after having gone this way many times before, it clicked. They were headed towards the training room. Confused, the young lightning mage looked towards Heianu. She'd already gotten herself into a fight, what was the point in going for another round? It didn't seem like the girl was upset with him. Maybe she just wanted to see his capabilities. Or-
Zedd, calm down. Stop getting so worked up. Breathe, ok? The boy repeated that in his head a few times, calming his breathing. If anything, Heianu probably just wanted to help Zedd deal with his anger in the only way she know how. If there was any sort of hostility, than she wouldn't have gently tapped the boy's head. No, that's right. She's a nice person deep down underneath her cold exterior.
Nothing was said as they traveled. At least not on Zedd's part. And knowing Heianu by now, she probably didn't make any moves towards conversation either. It just wasn't her style. It wasn't until they actually reached the training room that the young man actually said anything at all- a surprising enough change from how chatty he'd been thus far. Before they went in, the teacher who was working the desk narrowed her eyes at the young man and just quickly remarked with. "We reinforced the protection spell, please for the love of the gods don't figure out a way to destroy another room." The boy's only reply was a nervous chuckle. No promises.
"I think I know why you brought me here, but I think I wanna actually hear it from you, yourself." As the chamber sealed, the cracks between the white tiled floor pulsed, automatically sealing a protective training aura onto the two would-be combatants. Heianu could set up the settings for it however she wanted, if she wanted it to act like it did in the arena, or if she wanted it to be more durable than normal. Different programs for different types of training routines.
Shockingly (heh) enough, Zedd didn't show any sort of tension. Metal fingers pulled down his goggles over those turquoise eyes. Once Heianu had the training settings registered, that was that. He needed to get into the mindset to actually spar with someone now. Not only that, but he saw the girl in action, and he knew that she had a lot of cards still hidden up her sleeves. It was a bit nerve wracking.

Heianu gave a side glance to the teacher that seemed to also have some shade on Zedd. Un-fucking-believable. She sighed and rolled her eyes, head shaking a bit as she entered the training grounds and worked the settings. "There's two things. You've got a lot of hurt you need to let out. I can at least take a hit or two." She tapped around the settings almost mindlessly. "Second, I want to get an idea of how hard you can hit." At the end of that sentence, she stared at Zedd dead in the eyes with a sharp gaze and tapped a finalization key. The area around them shifted. Heianu wasn't getting a supply of items this time it looked like. But this was more for Zedd than it was for her. She walked over as the area shifted itself around to the settings. The area had yellowed grass with blades long enough to match up to their hips. The trees around were scarcely placed. They were set in a savannah. The room grew dim and the area quickly grew humid, dripping with rain falling at a steadied pace. A soft hiss and light steam came off of Heianu's hair and shoulders, but a deadly gaze with pinprick accuracy locked on Zedd from glowing green eyes just made it plain scary. Ready or not Heianu grabbed her dagger in a single motion and darted Zedd's way. She was planning on pushing him to the limit, to see what his limits were exactly. She leapt up and flew at Zedd with green flames billowing out of her feet, closing the distance fast and landing just in front of him with an attempt to swipe her blade across his neck or chest. "Well if you want to see how hard I can hit, there's no need to hold back." Droplets spattered against his shoulder pieces. It's a good thing that the aura was like a second skin, there was no way they'd be able to dry themselves off after this otherwise. Zedd put his foot forwards and twisted it. His stance was sturdy as he launched one hand forwards, and held the other back. The boy was in the combat course like many of the students. He knew how to fight hand to hand. This, however, would be the first time the young man would ever put it fully to the test. Normally, Zedd fought at range. But he'd trained so gods damned hard. Working day after day. Honing and refining his skills.
Damien would expect him to keep at range, so the best tactic was to do the exact opposite. The ground around him crackled and sparked to life as his hair rose on end. He held storms in the palm of his hands, and the electricity sparked and sputtered, evaporating water droplets that came into contact with it. Grass burned in her wake as the young woman lunged at Zedd, but with glowing eyes, illuminated with pure electricity, he ducked aside and swung in his right hand. No holding back. Heianu was experienced. Fearsome. If Zedd managed to hold his own against her, than he could hold against Damien.
Swinging in, the palm of the gauntlet opened up, crystal glowing white hot. No more running. The air cracked as lightning erupted from his hands with enough force to blast his own arm backwards. Thunder boomed in the wake of the lightning's detonation, and the grass around the two mages set alight. Ground, blackened, Zedd took a step back, but before his foot even connected with the ground, a flash of electricity launched him further back. Then again. Then again.
"No holding back! Right Heianu!?" Thunder rumbled around the young lightning mage as static grew and grew upon Zedd. The young man shoved his gauntlets down and dug them into the soil. Teeth grit. Muscles tensed. Lightning shot forth in every direction as his eyes burned hot, past the pupils and consuming his eyes in their entirety. The ground blackened and the young mage himself began to glow. Shock after shock. Rocks, struck by the increased electricity began to float with electromagnetism. The pressure being emitted from the cluster of static came to a full head. Zedd's fists shot closed, the second they did so the ground around him scorched black as electricity burned away any moisture. When he spoke, his voice was twisted and distorted by the density of the static in the air. "You wanted to see how hard I could hit, then let me show you. Let me show you how hard I've been training since I was defeated. Let me give you a sample of what I'm going to do to Damien."
Electricity blossomed and crawled over Zedd like a second skin. All of his features were erased, save for the glowing of his eyes and of the focusing gems. The transformation unleashed another boom of thunder as the boy rose up. Gauntleted hands now looked like massive claws of electricity. The boy looked as though he'd become an elemental, the second skin making him look as though he'd been created of the element itself. "This is the ace up my sleeve. I'm going to give you my maximum effort, so let's go."
The young man rocketed forth, faster now, practically soaring over the field and dragging with him a wave of electricity in his wake. As Zedd closed in, he reeled back, fist drawn and cocked, then swung in to slam it down upon Heianu with all the force of the storm he could muster. Spell name: Elemental Cloaking Spell Main Element: Arcane -Spell Sub Elements: Variable [Lightning for Zedd] Affinity Strength: 7 Function: Essentially a safer version of elemental flesh, the user coats themselves in the raw element they align with, changing their form to enhance their physical capabilities. Some elements obviously lean more towards offense than defense, while some may favor agility. However, the ability is fully manipulated by the caster, and as such they can take their own pick of how it acts and performs. Perhaps they want claws made of earth or lightning, or fists of ice, or maybe they'd lean towards a sturdy iron hide of steel, the form can be freely manipulated to suit the needs of the caster. Availability: Open
Spell name: Thundercrash Spell Main Element: Lightning -Spell Sub Elements: N/A Affinity Strength: 5 Function: Focusing on collecting a massive amount of raw energy, the caster draws lightning into the palm of their hand and point blank blasts a target with an eruption of electricity, blasting through defenses in a vicious display. While immensely powerful, this ability has little to no range, and is ineffective outside of close combat. Availability: Open
Spell name: Thundercrunch Spell Main Element: Lightning -Spell Sub Elements: N/A Affinity Strength: 6 Function: focusing lightning mana throughout the body and requiring an open area to sprint through, the user coats themselves in pure lightning, bringing with them the concussive force of thunder as they rush forwards, shattering and crushing defenses in a straight line before in a reckless charge, during this the user is unable to change what direction they are moving but are surrounded by a wave of lightning and kinetic force Availability: Open
Spell name: Lightning-step Spell Main Element: Lightning -Spell Sub Elements: N/a Affinity Strength: 3 Function: Lightning by it's nature is sudden, striking faster than the mortal mind can comprehend. A lightning mage harnesses that raw energy into themselves, tapping into the raw potential of the element they control. The caster of this spell snaps from one point to another, traveling like a bolt of lightning and leaving the sound of thunder in their wake. This ability can be used in rapid succession, but cannot be used over long distances. Using this ability too much risks causing damage to a mages musculature, and can tear tendons should they not be properly conditioned for it. Availability: Open

The first strike seemed to hit Heianu, but not enough to change the colour of her aura. When the light faded enough, Zedd could see her smiling, but it wasn't a really kind one. Finally, something interesting is happening. With Zedd's backing off, there was time for Heianu to read him and adjust herself enough to avoid his second attack, ducking below and then springing back up to strike upwards right into his chin, neck, or gut depending on his speed or her timing, a burst of green flame billowing out beneath her in an explosive cloud to help up her speed. She'd then cut her flames so she wasn't flying up and land on her feet, twisting around on her heel and reaching to grab Zedd by the neck or a limb to throw him into the ground while maintaining her momentum if her first hit was successful. Heianu would then use that same momentum to flip back and regain some distance, drawing in a breath and calculating her next move. Words didn't need to be said right now. She was focused and ready to rumble. Spell Name: Propel Spell Main Element: Fire Spell Sub Elements: Wind Affinity Strength: 1 at base Function: Fire a plume of flame (or sub-element) in a direction, launching the caster in the opposite direction and causing damage and knocking down those in the path of the blast. This can be used to shoot the caster upwards, but it would only be half the maximum range. If the caster is to fire this off and get propelled into a solid object (tree, wall, etc.), they will receive damage equal to the damage the spell would initially deal. If someone is 3 feet away from the center of the blast or less, the blast can singe or even burn, depending on the strength of the blast (Fire only).
Note: The range/damage is dependent on your affinity, but you can fire it at a lesser affinity for lass range, but at the cost of less damage.
Affinity: 1: 5-15 feet, minimal damage 4: 20-35 feet, moderate damage 7: 40-55 feet, heavy damage 10: 75 feet, massive damage
