After eating her apple and chewing on the stick a bit, Naya came across what seemed to be... Dancing! Now that was something she had seen during her time in the woods. Even some animals did it and she knew that the Champions of The One done ritual dances, they'd taught her about them once or twice. She didn't really remember much about the rituals but she did know that dancing was a lot of fun and music was even better. She'd heard some interesting tracks while wandering through towns and cities, especially when she spent a week with a sound cult, they taught her about... Funk. Eventually Naya found herself watching the champions and others join in to dance and for the first time, she felt... Inspired, truly inspired. Her eyes widened and lit up, jigsaw pieces clicked into place and the great rusty wheel of Naya's mind started to turn.
The young girl vanished into the crowd to gather up a few things, especially along the beach. With everything gathered up, including distracting a gentleman with Chompers so that Naya could steal his hat, she crept up on the person doing the music and told them what to play. Then it was time. Silence fell for just a moment as Naya weaved her magic. Chompers at her side suddenly howled to the sky, breaking the quiet. The crowds parted as Naya, now wearing a fedora with the edge tipped down over her face and standing upon Chomper's back came into the circle. Behind her was a small group of... Individuals, glassy eyed and unfocused. Her magic drew in around her and she connected herself via leylines of undeath to each of these zombies that she'd fished up from the surroundings. It was time to dance. "Though you fight to stay alive..." It started, slowly building up in the background, Naya and her undead crew standing completely still. "...Your body starts to shiver... To Shiver..." Her breathing was controlled, she could hear some of the crowd muttering about what was happening, a few shying away from the zombies. "...For no mere mortal can resist... The evil of..." "...The Thriller." The music built up slowly, a palpable air of tension around the entire dance circle, Naya still hadn't moved from her awkward position, body arched back, one leg out straight, a hand up to tilt the fedora down over her face.
"It's close to midnight..." The music blasted into existence and with a bit of help from Chomper's magical muscles, Naya backflipped off of the wolf and landed in front of her zombies, arms out, all of them taking the same pose. She spun and slid back, body moving like liquid with her entourage following her movements exactly. She reached out, as though pulling on an invisible rope, sliding back to upright and taking a long step forwards, shoulders cocked. Her hands snapped up over her head with a loud clap and she crouched and slid to the side, shoulders bobbing before coming up for another clap.
Another spin and she flicked her wrist like she was throwing out coins, her zombies suddenly circling her, leaving enough space between them to see her. The left side lurched forwards to try and grab her and she ducked away from them, running her hands down her sides and thighs along with the movement. It repeated when the right side lurched in to do the same and then she dropped to one knee, the zombies closing in around her. There was a flare of movement as the zombies threw their arms up, tossing Naya into the air as well. She spun in the air, tossing her fedora out before landing on the shoulders of two of her comrades. The rest of them closed in around her so that she could use their shoulders as her own dance platform even while they moved in sync with her, body popping and hips shimmying. They jumped forwards a few times and she flipped off their shoulders, landing in a crouch before throwing her hair back and hopping to her feet once more. Her shoulders dipped and moved as she stepped forwards once more, giving a clap and then turning towards her zombies who grouped up for a moment before suddenly parting to make almost a tunnel of limbs and bodies. "Whosoever shall be found..." Naya grinned and started to move into the tunnel, spinning around suddenly at the entrance. "...Without the soul for getting down..." She brought a hand up, waggling a finger as though chastising someone, a smirk on her lips. "...Stand and face the hounds of hell..." Chompers appeared behind her, mist puffing from his mouth. "...Or rot inside a corpse's shell...." Naya giggled and hopped up onto Chomper's neck, blowing a kiss. "...A foul stench is in the air..." Chompers started to walk backwards into the crowd of zombies, Naya slowly disappearing from sight. "...The funk of forty thousand years... And grizzly ghouls from every tomb..." Naya vanished, the zombies closing in and slowly sliding out of the circle, spinning and clapping as they did so. "...Are closing in to seal your doom... And though you fight to stay alive..." As they reached the outside of the circle, they vanished into the ground, fading away, with Naya and Chompers nowhere to be seen as they had ducked out of sight behind a stall. "...Your body starts to shiver... For no mere mortal can resist... The evil of..." "...The Thriller."

[smear:#F70021]"Wh- Ahah! AHAHA!"[/smear:#FFD500:0] Ember was surprised. A necromancer with a full undead dance squad? Now that was something! Now, her laugh shouldn't be mistaken as her laughing at Naya. It was actually the opposite. She was truly impressed. Even got a whole undead wolf in there and everything.
Now, it would have been more awesome if the dead didn't smell awful and well... if necromantic arts didn't have such a huge disposition with the domains of life and death. But this was a party right? Surely this girl wasn't going to be trouble. She was just having fun from the looks of it. Of course if she did start raising trouble, Ember didn't have much of a problem dealing with it, but she didn't want to, especially considering this was a festival for the fire domain.
Throughout the dance Naya made, there were mixed emotions. Some still had a disposition against necromancy, but others seemed well entertained by they sudden flashmob of dancing zombies. Though they seemed to vanish as quickly as they appeared. What a shame, she wanted to chat with the girl about the flashmob, that was some good stuff she hasn't seen in a while.
Aurora herself seemed just as thrilled, and recorded the whole dance to rewatch later. Of course, knowing how nosey that Avatar could be, she might be sifting through books later to identify this mage and learn a bit more about them. She couldn't really blame her after a show like that though.

Alright. A necromancer with a full back up team. That was difficult for anyone to try to follow up. The only good news was that the girl vanished away, dipping out of the competition. Not to mention that it seemed as though the deities over there had skipped their turns as well. A few people stepped up to try to one up the previous performances in their own ways. Now that magic was being included, everything was fair game. A few icy ballet's. Water mages using their water for smooth, elegant movements. Wind mages using their magic to really enhance high energy movements. It was a great wave of personal expression. The crowds slimmed down as more people backed out or exhausted themselves. A good chunk flat out gave up the second everyone started adding magic to tinge their performances with flair, either because they lacked magic or theirs weren't flashy enough to benefit their performances. Down the line it went like this, the crowd really having fun with watching and participating. A few flubs, a few solid performances.
Finally, it rotated back to Ty's turn. The young man had time to try to plan out his next moves, but very little came to mind. Planning got him nowhere, so it was best to just wing it. Once more, white lines trailed behind him from his eyes as the young man stepped out into the dance floor.
All eyes on him.
The beat echoed in his chest. Head bopping, starting slow, the young man let his movements flow along with the steady build of the music. As the beat started building more and more, shadows began to trail along with his finger tips. Every movement left shadowed echoes of where he'd been, emphasizing the effect of the slow, deliberate, calculated movements. The way his arms and head shifted, it was almost as though they were completely separated from himself. Then came the first base hit. Ty slammed his foot down and began to lower as the music built more and more and more and more.
Then, in time with the base drop, he flipped completely in the air. With two full sideways rotations, Ty's form twisted and caught itself with one hand, holding himself up there for the briefest of moments. Then dropped, . No longer leaving echoes, his limbs instead drew trails of smokey darkness along with them, countering the glowing of his eyes which left lines in the air of their own. His body pumped itself up, utilizing the element of war to enhance his own physicality. He moved faster than normal, and each move carried a palpable impact.
Sliding his legs underneath, the young man swung his legs around in a helicoptering motion, then flipped backwards again and held himself backwards. Arms spaced, head pointed towards the ground like a headstand, only instead of being straight up, the rest of his body curved and angled outwards. The beat had slowed to the next chorus now, and Tyler held himself like this, completely still, as thought frozen in time. Then as the beat resumed, he seemed to collapse back down onto one shoulder.
Only, instead of actually collapsing, the young man's legs shot apart as he began spinning wildly in controlled halo's. He spun and spun and spun, picking up more and more momentum and drawing the smoke wildly around in a pure, jet black circle. But that wasn't all. With immense effort, while spinning himself around and around, Tyler began to heft himself and actively start pushing himself up and down. Even with the enhancements of the raw element of war, it was a herculean effort that took immense strength, control, and timing.
To really sell it, as the beat slowed again, he shifted to only one hand and held there for a moment until- no! He was falling towards the floor!? Had he exhausted himself too much? Was he far too drained to complete his set?
Tyler hit the floor audibly. Laid still, he made no movements. Until... bit by bit as the beat built back up. His shoulders bopped and jerked along. Without using his hands, the young man began pulling himself upwards. Shoulders bopping, head and arms dangling. The suicide drop was successful. Slingshotting forward, Ty's hands slammed back into the floor and flipped him upwards. Guy was more flexible than he looked. Again he dropped and alternated sides as he kicked his legs out, really egging it in the amount of physicality he could perform as he motioned as though walking up the air, hefting himself up only by his arms. And then a sideways rotation to push up off the ground, arcing in the air back to his feet. With perfect precision and clean movements, Tyler shot finger pistols back at the crowd as he moon-walked all the way back to his spot by Louise.
As he leaned a shoulder up against the girl, she along would be able to hear the sound of him panting and gasping for a breath over the music. "Your... turn..." He stated with a smile, completely out of breath. "Fuck... hoo man I need a breather... heh..." Doing everything in one's power to one up a fucking zombie dance team really took it out of a guy. While he couldn't make his own back up team or break-dancing group, he could at least go as hard on it as he possibly could. Shit was more of a contest than ever before now, and Tyler was in it for the long haul.
No need to start something he couldn't finish, and the punk was adamant about sticking in here until either he whooped one of the champions out or he himself got knocked out of the running. For now, he still had a few ideas up his sleeve. Though, mostly right now he was surviving off of hopes and dreams. Crowd was slim now, and the guy had made a lot of people back down, same as a lot of competitors before him. Bare minimum, Ty wanted top five. Maybe top three.

She was awestruck by the sudden flash mob of zombies. You would think with stiff ligaments they wouldn't be able to dance so well but hey- you never know! That was definitely the coolest way to raise the stakes. Now everyone was throwing their magic into the circle. Each time a new spell was cast she felt giddy. She wished she could cast as well as those before her. No way she could have them beat. If she tried performing magic now...well that might not end well for her. She didn't want to have a shut down in the middle of the rave. She stays to the edge of the circle, still dancing along to the beat of the music. However, she felt herself slow as Ty danced. Wow- yeah...holy shit how does anyone get cooler than that? She was only a humble dancer she could no longer reasonably compete with what has been presented. She gave it a good try though. As Ty shimmies up to her she grins. " That was fucking awesome!" Her grin turns into a look of hesitance and she shakes her head. " I think I was beaten as soon as the dead started dancing." She laughs a little and shrugs. She wondered where that girl went anyways. She definitely won the whole thing in Louise's opinion. Too bad she didn't stick around to use her future bragging rights.

Ember and Aurora exchanged glances and nods, cheering on other dancers that joined in with their added sense of flare. For them, it was all in good fun compared to a competition Ty held in his brains. Ember shrugged, the zombie crew was probably the best highlight of the dance battle itself but that wasn’t going to stop her.
She slid in with a bout of fire covering her feet up to her ankles and wide sweeping steps as she slowly trailed the edge of the clearing to glance through those in the front. The way she was stepping was an obvious reference to a more ceremonial dance she’s practiced for who knows how long. Her steps traced in arced zigzags, each step meant she inched in the other direction with her upper body bowed and arms spread to the sides with her palms facing upwards. Her head snaked around, leading the rest of her body and every few steps accented with a quick twirl around. Her footsteps didn’t leave flames behind, they kept onto her but there was a definite rise of embers while she made her round with the beat of the music staying slow.
After a full rotation, a foot slid back a step and her body followed. She appeared to ‘fall’ but everything looked wavy as flames lit across her palms now. But as she touched the ground, she immediately sprang back up with a burst of fire, only the heat reaching the frontmost line of the crowd in a short burst. She flipped onto her hands and twisted her body like a spring ready to bounce back up at any second. As her body stopped twisting and bending towards the side, there was just a brief moment before the area was lit up with a flaming pillar in gold. The pillar itself flew up in a brilliant fury towards the sky, like a lost star seeking its way back home in the night.
The fire tornado broke with another burst of heat reaching the crowd, with enough embers to light up not only the floor and faces, but also movements in the air. Based on where her arms and legs moved, the embers followed in a slower motion. An abrupt jab with her hip disrupted them enough to push them away slightly. As far as anyone was concerned, the fire champion was enamoured in a shower of sparks and flame, brandishing themselves in crackling heated gold that added onto the soft metal clicks of the gold bangles she wore.
For some, her dance seemed to incorporate styles that were outside of a generic feel. Other elemental mages seemed to recognise them though as there was a flow and grace akin to water. There were abrupt and sweeping motions of wind. Certain calculated steps of earth. Then there was the obvious flare of fire with spins in motion that only grew her own flames and ignited others. This dance seemed to tie in seasonal elements more than anything. Her movements were set in tune with the music, changing ‘elemental styles’ based on the tone and beat of the music.
She swept around in a tighter circle towards the center, smoke slithering out of her mouth as she exhaled it steadily and slowly to keep an even stream out. As the music picked up, to another drop, Ember moved down into a hard crouch, hands alight with flame and igniting the smoke with a sudden roar into a literal ring of fire that dispersed as fast as it appeared. All other smaller glints of flame appeared extinguished, leaving the dance floor dark again.

Aurora whistled, things were really amping up now especially after seeing a whole undead dance crew take the stage by storm.
After Ember’s turn, the two exchanged a high five, like she was being tagged in. The music itself fell silent as a new track began to play. The area was extremely dim, especially with the lights of the place set up to follow through with the music. Thankfully, Aurora knew what the tracks playing were. A beat played and an illuminated step in cyan matched up in perfect synchronization. A pause and then another, this time it was magenta. Another pause and then another step in goldenrod. A fourth beat and a sound that rattled itself, matched up with a sweep of Aurora’s leg that stuttered with kicks in the same fashion, a soft gradient per kick from aqua green to a soft tone of blue.
Silence again.
Then another sound, a noise of a sudden gust of wind, but less a violent burst and more of a “woosh”. Aurora’s hands followed around perfectly, a stream of light trailed behind and spread out like a technicolour fog into the crowd. Then the music seemed to start up with a beat, no longer accompanied by silence. A step in the same motion of the beat started and the cracks within the bricks of the ground for the cleared area lit up with a rainbow flood of light, its colours random and ever-changing.
The beat kicked up and so did the change in colours for Auroras little light show. She raised her hands, keeping the palms parallel with the ground and then shot them back down to release a shockwave of multicoloured light when a low kickbeat dropped. The light left behind the shockwave glittered in a wide array of colours that light up everything from below. Aurora kept the lighting reliant on those specks that littered the floor as she kept going, taking steps around in a circle that were constantly hiccuped with short kicks that released small bursts of more glittering light.
She kept in time with the beat, each kick dealt when a drum hit and a step placed in between. The tempo changed and so did her moves, floating from beats and more into other sounds that harmonised to them instead. Waves of light lit up on Auroras palms once again and wove into each other with intersecting arcs that seemed to change how frequently they intertwined and moved based on a bass lines tempo shifting from slow to fast and back to slow.
Her dance kept fairly simple, relying on using light magic more this time than movement to emulate a living visualiser for the music, which still seemed to be an absolute right for those that enjoyed seeing the pretty colours. Despite it being simplistic this go, there was enough to keep eyes and brains busy trying to register all the lights around in this little show off session.
She hopped back out when the music went to fade onto another track, as her light show left anyone who wasn't about to pass out from the late night party lingering more for the next person to hop in. Though it seemed after that that Aurora herself was near out of steam.
