"I was just on a day off and just thought of exploring here. I just moved here, you see, so like... Y'know. I'm not really familiar with the places here and the sign outside just kind of 'popped' compared to everything.", she said, walking around the desk and leaning on it. "I'm staying with a friend of mine who's also a friend of Ty's, actually. I think he might have mentioned a music store he'll sometimes browse, but I don't remember right now." Luna gave a shrug. "I think I'll look around. What kind of music are you into?" Yes, acting as if nothing just happened. Other customers that were there prior whispered amongst themselves. But new customers just thought the manager was taking a nap or something.

"Really? You just moved here? Wow! Well, if you need someone to show you around a little I can totally do that. I can even show you the best places to get food, especially pastries," she said cupping her hands to her lips in a conspiratorial whisper. She added a wink in for extra measure and a bright grin. Louise hops up and sits on top of the desk, letting her legs swing off the side, kicking them back and forth. They whir and light up a little with each swing. "Oh! You and Ty seem to have a lot of friends wow." She wished she had that many, but one was an achievement and she wasn't going to start complaining now. "Maybe I'll meet them sometime if they show up here. But for music? What do I like? Hmm... I think the better question is what don't I like? I do like funky stuff though. Anything that makes me wanna get up and dance is automatically a good song. I don't make the rules that's just how it is!"

There was a dream. A nice one, of a beautiful summer day. An open, lush field surrounded by green trees. Birds sang their songs up above, in a clear blue sky. And in the center of the grassy field, a clearing had been set up. A flattened out trashcan lid was set as home plate, while old seat cushions served as the bases. He'd just stepped up to bat. Lili stood bristling with confidence on the pitcher's mound, mascara drawn into lines under her eyes. The bases were loaded. Luke on third, Clyde on second, Gabe on first. Tyler looked behind him to the catcher. Io smiled back. Dozens of other kids and teens shouted and cheered from the sidelines, behind barricades made of wood and chicken wire.
Ty looked out into the distance and could see Zack standing there with the same wicked grin as Luna. Ty's team had two outs and both teams were tied. The redhead flipped his hair as well as his middle finger. Somewhere out in the field, Luna was probably waiting with the same tenacity as Zack. That's right. Ty thought as a younger version of himself tightened his grip on the metal baseball bat. This isn't a dream... it's a memory. His hidden eyes went to Callahan, who had settled back in the crowd to watch his little brother and all his friends. A memory of the good ol' days.
Lili wound up. Ty dug his heel. A white glow pierced out from under his cap where his left eye would have been. The other girl shifted forwards. The ball left her fingers. Ty swung and-
The impact of Louise hopping up onto the counter jostled the young man slightly. Voices. Pulling him back. Behind the shadows, invisible eyes blinked back to reality. What happened? He was working. Then Luna came in, he introduced her to Louise. Made a few jokes, and then... Right. The headlock.
The young man was quiet as he sat up in his seat. Tyler didn't remember passing out there. The two chucklefucks probably shunted me in- What the fuck? As Ty had gone to rub his neck, something became readily apparent. A message that simply read "Don't Forget." FORGET WHAT??? As Tyler came back into reality, the punk's hidden eyes narrowed. That's not my handwriting. His head snapped around towards the two young women. While he didn't know who's idea it was, Luna was still the one who knocked him out. So Ty grabbed up the marker... and chucked it at the white haired girl.
And missed.
Son of a- Ty sucked in a deep breath. Calm. Calm. Calm. Calm. Calm. Luke would fucking have my head on a silver platter if I hurt Luna in any capacity. Another deep breath. Ffffffffffffffffffff- Ty stood up while he mentally screamed every single curse in the book over a dozen times or more. Despite his eyes not being visible, there was enough of his face to show that he was... not happy about having his neck crunched. Now the young man had to go wash away whatever was on his arm. It didn't look as though he was in the mood to discuss anything with Luna, at least until he washed his arm off and calmed down from being knocked out. Safe to say Louise was probably in the same boat as well for the time being.
A few patrons looked towards Ty as he woke up, and flinched when they saw two furious orbs of white burning from under the hat. The punk left Luna and Louise behind as the young man stormed off to the staff bathroom in the back.
He didn't even know there was anything on his face yet, either.

"Oh, yeah.. A lot of us grew up together. At least our old group of friends.", she said. She didn't know how much Ty told Louise and she didn't want to overstep her boundaries on what Ty wanted to share and what he wanted shared. Io was a soft and sore subject for all of them all the same. "Ohhh those are cool augments on your legs! They'd be perfect for night time raves or even the dancefloor over at the Triangle.", she said giving a light applause to the girl's light up legs. "...And I might take your offer up on the pastries but I don't want to get myself into too much. Carrying these things around is more than enough for me already.", Luna said, while crossing her arms in a way where they framed her chest. A slight shrug and there was a lift and a subtle bounce. Boobs are nice but man are they a fucking pain sometimes. Oh, he's gonna be absolutely pissed., Luna thought. Now see, if Ty wanted to throw hands with Luna, she'd be okay with it. It's just getting through to Luke that she wasn't some fragile princess. Io didn't raise no bitch, she could handle herself. After all, she was brought up all the same like the rest of them, she could throw hands and dish out more than just a bluff of words. "So he's gonna see that and the look on his face tells me, you should close up shop early and fucking run.", she said as a side note to Louise. Luna could run, but she wasn't going to leave her new girl friend hanging. Notice the space there Luke, you still have a chance! In fact, Luna would rather take the hit from Ty for a number of reasons. One, kind of her fault, except Ty really did start it. Even Io could attest to that if he was there to speak. Two, she can at least take a hit or two from Ty and knew how to counter him. Three- Uhh three... three... th... fuck it. Two reasons was plenty.

How many people did Ty know? Seems he had a whole group of childhood friends that managed to worm their way back into his life. Wonder why they even broke apart in the first place since he seems so happy to see them all. A small frown worked at the corners of her lips the more she thought about it. Maybe she was lucky she didn't have friends cause then she wouldn't have to worry about losing them. Well there was Ty and-
She blinks a little at the compliment before her cheeks begin to turn a similar hue of pink as her hair and she cups her face and giggles. "Haha! Gee thanks! I sorta needed them after a little accident." It could not have been little considering all four of her limbs are fucking robotic. "I did use them in the summer festival rave! Well- I mean, I use them every day so like no duh! But-!" She holds a finger up before clapping her hands together and slowly the cracks and crevices between her mechanical limbs begin to light up with bright neon light that slowly lingers and trails after her movements. She claps her hands together again and the lights turn off. "Can't use em for too long unless I want to sap all the battery power. I can't afford that because otherwise, I have a dead limb for all intents and purposes. I'm trying to improve the battery design right now to make it more efficient. Your friend Luke gave some suuuper good suggestions!" A lot of suggestions she was going to take to fucking heart. Maybe they could work on a project that would be fun. Then again...the last person to work on a project with her exploded so...maybe better if she just...worked alone.
But that's so boring and lonely! At least she still had this workplace so she could have some semblance of company that for some reason tolerates her presence. Who knows maybe she and Luna could be friends, she does seem interested in the pastries. Though, she does make a fair point. Louise looks down at her own chest and begins to feel the familiar sensation of insecurity creeping in. Her chest was...definitely not even close to Luna's size. Not like she would want that much weight, the backpain is NOT WORTH IT. At least she has her cool limbs...which...isn't much of a selling point if she's being honest. But at least she literally created thighs that could save lives. She hears something move and her eyes immediately flick over to Ty.
Oh, he's waking up. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face after the prank her and Luna pulled. That was until she ACTUALLY saw the look on his face and her chipper grin was swiftly replaced by a concerned grimace. She looked back towards Luna and her expression just grew even more concerned. Was he gonna fire her for this? She really hoped he didn't. Plus if he WAS gonna to beat the shit out of her she can take it! This limbs were built to withstand a lot. Besides she's literally lived through an explosion she could be fine in a hypothetical fight. But she's concerned about losing Ty as a friend. AW DAMMIT. She crosses her arms and let's out a sigh.
"Uh...I dunno how to really close up the shop... and um...is...is he gonna hate me for this?" She asked Luna, wide eyed.

Ty locked the bathroom door behind him and went to the sink, scrubbing furiously until his arm was raw and red. On the surface, he liked to paint himself as a chill and mellow guy. And for the most part, he was. He really, really did his best to keep it that way. But only a few people actually knew that underneath it all, he was a deeply angry person. A lot of the Lost Boys were. It's what happens when you grow up in the shit end of nowhere with a boot pressed to your neck.
Anger seeded itself deep in his heart from the second he was born.
Anger at so many different things. It was easier to hide with the shadows over his eyes. Those same hidden eyes stared down at the reddened arm. It was stupid to be this upset, but his cheeks burned red with utter embarrassment at the fact that Luna publicly strangled him into unconsciousness, and then had the audacity to doodle on him like it was a frat party. It's fine. It's cool. We're good. Ty told himself as he dried his arm off. At least until the young man looked up into the mirror and saw the rest.
Everyone in the store would likely feel the pressure suddenly spike.
Fragments of reflective glass laid upon the ground. Ty's hat rested upon the sink. The young man rubbed at his face, one knuckle bloody. A space had been carved out in the mirror from his punch, everything else shattered around it. After checking his face over to make sure he got everything, the young man pulled the cap back on and steadied himself on the sink. It was a struggled to try and recenter himself. Of course, the young punk continuously berated himself for getting this angry over something so small, but insulting himself only seemed to make the issue worse.
Just. Calm down forehead. He sucked in a deep breath, letting it come back out heavy. He was fine. It was fine. A harmless prank. That completely embarrassed him. But it was alright. He was good. It was all good. How long had he been out? On second thought it was best he didn't know. Ty pulled back from the mirror and straightened up, practicing some breathing techniques his older brother taught him. This was all an overreaction. Honestly, he was the one in the wrong here. And now he had to pay for a replacement mirror. At least the bleeding on his knuckles stopped. With a sigh, the young man grabbed a dustpan and broom in the far corner, and quietly swept up the mess he'd made. Once done, Tyler cleaned up his knuckles and braced himself at the door for the scolding he was likely about to receive from Luna for being so childish. The air around the young punk was completely different from when he'd gone into the bathroom, like a dog with its tail between his legs. He couldn't look anyone in the eye.
"Sorry." Ty muttered as he passed by Luna and Louise on his way back to the front counter. His cheeks were a deep red, completely flushed with utter embarrassment and self-disappointment. He needed a moment.

"Nah, I'm the one that roped you in on it, so it's more likely he'd... be...", she stopped when she saw Ty coming back. She didn't get to finish her sentence, letting the silence fall as the boy regrouped with them. Ladies and gentlemen, brats of all ages, here's something new and un-fucking-precendented! Tyler Dumont fucking apologising without someone telling him to? Was this the end of the world? Luna was shocked more than anything. She was used to seeing any of the Lost Boys get so riled up that Io had to step in and basically put them in time out. On the one hand, she was proud of him for not doing that, especially with the store he ran, but on the other.... There was no way he was so calm after how he got up and vanished to the bathroom. Something hinted that he either tried to or successfully broke something. Though he seemed to be hiding it, Luna leaned over and forced herself into a walk around the desk so she didn't fall over. Without saying anything, she grabbed his dominant arm and picked it up. He really fucking did what she thought he did. She let go of his arm, or he just yoinked it away, and let out a sigh. Old habits really did die hard didn't they? The whole mood seemed to shift again, to something a bit more somber. Luna sucked in a deep breath. To an extent, Ty did grow up a little. On the other, what the fuck did he break? "Ty, you okay?" What a stupid question, of course he wasn't. Listen, Luna might have knocked him out cold, and he absolutely deserved it, but she did care for this baseball bobble headed fuck.

Her eyes snapped over to the door Ty had just come from. Immediately her grimace goes into a tight-lipped panicked expression. Though her fear turns swiftly into confusion at the apology. Louise is having a whole face journey of emotions right now. Then again, she was awful at hiding her emotions, everything just showed up on her face.
"Why are you apologizing?" she asks, her voice matching her confused expression. Did he do something bad? What could he have possibly done in the span of two minutes- ooooh. Luna's grip answered that for her. A small pout and furrowed brow now made its way onto her face. What did he do to bust his hand like that so quickly? Why'd he do that in the first place? Probably to get the anger out but, plates were smashable and if you throw them a good distance they can't hurt you. That or tearing apart old dumb blueprints that don't work and were useless anyway.
"You want a first aid kit or something? Where do we keep those by the way?" She actually has no clue. If Ty did tell her, she likely forgot where it was. Plus also, ya know an awkward conversation might ensue that she may not exactly be privy to listen to so she is just gonna like- leave to make it less awkward for them. Unless she's reading the whole vibe wrong. Actually, she has no clue what to do here. Time to stand awkwardly and pretend she knows how to casually pose.

No. Stop it. Don't give him that look. Listen here, he just came out so he could give a bit of an apology for acting so childish, don't go shoving it down a new rabbit hole. Oh great, now Louise is in on it too. Look, can't a guy apologize without everyone jumping down his throat? Ty sighed and gently tugged his wrist free of Luna's grasp, clearing his throat before he spoke.
"It's fine Louise, it's not bleeding anymore and I cleaned it myself." Now to face the bigger issue. Ty looked back towards Luna, face as placid and unreadable as ever. "I shouldn't have gotten upset like I did in the first place. That's why I was saying sorry. I was acting like a brat. It's my fault any of this happened. I forgot we can't really make those jokes to you without getting shit-mixed into next week. So, sorry for making the shitty jokes. They were in poor taste. And even if I'm unconscious, I probably should have expected you to draw on me. You guys did it to everyone. Embarrassing as it may be, it was bound to get me eventually."
Ty avoided that hit list growing up. He should have known that would catch up to him eventually. It was like Final Destination, only replace violent, brutal death with markers and really poorly drawn dicks. Couldn't blame a guy for hoping he escaped, though.
Settling back down into his seat, the young man pulled up a magazine and flipped to the last page he'd been on. "Karma's a bitch, and I deserved it." Ty skimmed through to the next page. His face moved in a way that showed a bit of interest. Ooo... nice boards. Of course, cool skateboards always got him interested.
Customers eventually returned, and those that got a bit of a shock from what happened between the trio finally calmed down. Still, even with conversations starting up, it was still quiet around the front counter. As the lull became more apparent, Ty looked up from the magazine towards the two girls. He'd completely reset back to how he was when the day started. The same neutral expression, same neutral attitude.
"Honestly if you're expecting more from me, I don't even remember what the hell we were talking about before my neck got snapped. I'm just kind of waiting for one of you to move the conversation along." The punk returned back to the magazine and clicked his tongue, punctuating each word with a bit more emphasis. "Clear the awkward air..."
With a quiet "ooo" uttered as he saw the next page, it was back to business as usual. While he certainly appreciated the concern Louise showed, and the care Luna took in asking how he was, it wounded his pride more than helped. I much preferred it back when the day was nice and slow. Now the chill vibe is compromised and I have no fucking clue how to salvage it. Ty thought. It was a bitter pill to swallow, realizing that he still had such bad anger problems no matter how hard he tried to maintain a casual vibe. Not many people ever saw that side of him, and he hated having to show it. Fuck.

In Luna’s defense, he completely and totally deserved it but it rubbed wrong when he looked so guilty about it. An awkward silence hung in the air between the three of them. Her tail swished slowly from side to side, but that was a subconscious movement that she wasn’t too aware of from the looks of things. “So…. Is Callahan here too?”, Luna asked, finally breaking a silence that felt like it was there longer than it really was. “Or is he still back at Blackmarsh?”
She had a hard time believing Callahan wouldn’t be with Ty, they were close brothers after all. Were any of the other Lost Boys in the city too? That would be wild to find they all moved into the capital city. Maybe Luke knew, now that he seemed to have connections. It was kind of amazing that he managed to get some kind of social network despite how much of a recluse he is. She guessed he managed to grow up enough to branch out a bit to get information rather than keeping to his own. Of course, that didn’t mean everyone he met was let in like with the group he grew up with. Maybe she’d ask him later, and jokingly harass him with finding Ty.

"Well if you're sure," she says with a shrug not willing to push it. Man, this was suddenly getting to feel REAL awkward. Not like she was a champion of conversation herself. Ty's admission to not knowing how to continue the conversation really cemented the awkwardness of it all. Her lips press into a thin line and she looks around, brows furrowing as her mind bounces from topic to topic trying to decide what to say. Seems Luna speaks before her mind can settle anywhere. Thank fuck! She doesn't have to think now- well she does. Callahan...she's heard the name. Where did she hear it. Tye mentioned it but why- OH! They were related or something, right? She hasn't met him yet, probably suuuuper busy with work stuff. What did he do again? Did Ty mention what he did? He said he admired and respected him she knew that for SURE. She wasn't even tuned into the conversation at this point, her mind fully entrapped with trying to remember who exactly Callahan was.

At the mention of his brother, Ty perked up. "Cal? Yeah of course he's in Avalon. He's the one that brought me here after all." Thumbing back through the magazine, a small smile flashed accross his features for the briefest of moments, at least until he remembered he was supposed to be grumpy. "He and a bunch of other former guard members from The City formed a security force and work with the Avalonian guards. He's currently out on patrol right now. He said he was actually gonna stop by one of these days so I can introduce him to Louise. Luke was also talking about introducing one of his friends to Cal as well."
Ty paused, a shock of fear running up his spine for apparently no reason.
Shaking it off just as quickly, Ty closed the magazine and checked the time. Oof, it was way later than he expected. Then again, the guy had been out cold for gods know how long. With a huff, he stood and looked around the store, then to Louise. "Closing time, Louise. Let's get this all locked up and start filtering everyone out, yeah?" Back to Luna, Ty spoke as he pulled out the cashdrawer from the register. "Cal's been content. He's still got a massive chip on his shoulder from The City, of course. But I'm pretty sure we all do. There's not much fighting to be done in the city, so a lot of times he's outsourced to villages in the periphery to help keep the peace. Mostly, his group help train and advise the local guard."
"He's not changed much." Tyler continued, moving around the counter. The coins jingled and chimed as they shook against one another with each step. It seemed the music shop was fairly profitable, even with Luna chasing away his customers. "He's as tired as ever, and he gets no shortage of dad jokes while he's on the job. Apparently some of his coworkers made him a "Spicy Papa" shirt, and his head nearly exploded then and there." The young man laughed at that one. Callahan was a stern man, but the jokes that got thrown his way were perfectly amusing.
"Hey, Luna." The young man paused on his way to the backroom. "I'm probably gonna swing by your work place soon. I can't surprise you like Luke and I had planned, but I think it'll be nice to visit like you did me. Besides, hopefully you can't snap my neck in public like you did today." So he can make jokes and have them be responded to. Like jokes. Instead of them being responded to with attempted murder.
Then again, it was still playing with Fire and Ty didn't know if he wanted to risk getting burned a second time.
"Give Luke a kiss on the cheek for me, thanks for visiting, kay byeeee~!" Or maybe he did want to risk getting incinerated. The young punk was off to the races now though, carrying the gold coins from all the sales they'd made that day, avoiding judgement via the excuse of work. Don't make the guy call the guards on you, Luna. Don't do it.

It sounded like a stupid question but it really wasn’t. Luna was like 95 percent sure that Callahan was going to be with Ty, they were as close as the lost boys were. They were biological brothers, but the bonds were rivaling with those that weren’t familial with Ty. “Oh huh. Luke never mentioned anything about that or really anything about you or Cal being around.” Though she had a feeling that it was going to be a surprise. Whoops.
As for the mention on Blackmarsh, yeah that made sense. That city was hell. Literal hell. She didn’t blame Callahan for having feelings like that. When she thought about it, Luna also seemed to have a seed of vengeance deep rooted for that place. One of these days that city will be nothing more than rubble to the ground and those who harvest the brilliant fruit from the top of its branches will wither and die along with it. “I’m glad that he seems to be doing well. Sounds like he’s still putting his skills to better use than before.” More people learning to fend for themselves. Callahan was always a good teacher too. Man carried a tired face but had a lot of patience.
“Spicy Papa is ironically a perfect name for him once you get past his tired facade.” She crossed her arms and watched Ty. Man was grown up, closing shop like it was daily routine. Her ears perked and flicked a little more alert when he called out her name. “Hm? Oh, yeah. Don’t try to embarrass me at my workplace or I can’t promise that. Bring Callahan and Louise too. I’ll see if Luke will bring this friend of his he made.” It seemed like she never met Soren either. Luke and his fucking hush hush bullshit.
She turned to leave with the other people visiting and stopped dead in her tracks with the last thing Ty said. “You… mother FUCKER.” She whipped around and Ty was gone in a flash. Ooooh he was so going to get it the next time he saw her. She turned back around and stormed off down the street. She'd only fume about it for the next few minutes before catching her calm again and heading home.

Louise couldn't help but eavesdrop on the conversation. Well, since she was technically a part of it and notoriously good at tuning out people speaking when she wanted to or she could have actually helped it. However, she didn't and instead chose to listen. Her brows furrowing and her expression morphing into awkward confusion. Ah yes, the riveting conversation they are having about a place she does not know and about people she has not met. It really sucks always being the third wheel. Even at her own workplace she sort of feels invisible. She sighs and chooses to walk away from the conversation. Only catching bits about Callahan, some city, and Spicy Papa...wait what? She'll ask Ty about that later if she remembers at all. Louise instead is choosing to try and shoo people out of the place. Which is more of her attempting to engage in unwanted conversation and making people uncomfortable enough to leave. Just her approaching someone out of the corner of their eye is enough to send some customers packing. She only really started payin attention to Luna and Ty again when she heard FUCKER yelled out only to see the white haired lady stomp out. Was she mad again? Wait where did Ty go? Her best guest was another neck snap 2.0 and she could only shrug and continue to close up the place wiping down surfaces and organizing the CDs people keep fucking moving around.
