A strong aroma rides the wind, mixing scents of various foods into something that would make one's mouth water. The foods feature an array of dishes that welcome multiple backgrounds and presented in ways that could easily be described as an art. Be wary about following your stomach and nose, you might end up buying more than you can eat when hungry.

Autumn had always been Luke's favorite time of year for a multitude of reasons. From the changing scenery to the cooling weather, but the one thing that he loved the most was the Hauntfest. Back in Blackmarsh, it was the only time of year he felt like he could have fun. However, he'd never seen anything like this. It was a grand display dedicated to the greatest time of year. Various games and festivities, large swaths of people dressed up in various costumes and outfits-
The mouthwatering food.
Luke was drawn to the food faire before anything else. A variety of smells the likes of which he'd never known greeted his senses and almost made him drool. Luke wasn't a glutton, he very rarely binge ate- but looking at all the stalls bustling with different treats made him wonder just how fat he'd come away tonight.
At the current point in time, Luke was dressed up in his own costume- Krieg, from Borderlands 2. He'd spent almost all month working on it, sewing the clothes and 3d printing the rigid parts. Not to mention piecing them all together and painting them up. The end result, though, was an impressive outfit, complete with the character's fully upgraded buzz axe.
He had planned on wandering around, making mischief or taking part in some of the other festivities- to make more mischief- but once he saw the food faire, the young man couldn't just ignore it. Well, it wouldn't hurt to grab a quick bite to eat, he just had to be careful not to get anything on himself. He worked to hard on this costume to mess it up now.

The festival was in full swing, and Alex found it to be much too loud.
He walked through the area, taking in the smells and the bustle of the crowds. Despite his usual habits out of his house, he wasn't on his house, instead looking around, an overall annoyed look on his face. When it comes to extremely large and social events, he's known to avoid it, but given the circumstances, he's kind of stuck here.
He's supposed to be meeting someone here.
One of his online buddies, actually. While the dude isn't one of the ones he overall hangs out with, it wouldn't hurt to hang out with them. And given that the dude is part of the group of people that actually talk to him, hell he might as well say hi.
With the occasion, he did make an attempt to dress up in the eventful fashion. He wore a simple black hoodie and white shirt, along with black pants and his sneakers. The only noticeable thing that fit the event was a mask, all black, a simple skull on it, bright white and revealing. He didn't have any real time to plan for this, so it's mostly rushed. The mask is the only unique part about it all.
He'd check his phone, sending a message to the one named Felix. 'I'm here.' He'd put his phone away, walking through the crowds. Might as well get some food while he waits, right? He'd walk through the choices, wondering what he could go with. When he chooses one, he can even shoot Felix a text and let him know where he is. Or something.
He didn't know.
