Sitting on the side of the street in the Ignis Reach is a very small building. One with only a few windows, that most would walk past. Out front, next to the short set of stairs leading up into the building is a propped up sign, reading, "CAANDY'S CANDY, OPEEN ALWLWAYS," written in messy handwriting with green paint. Poorly written letters are crossed out, with the paint from the periods leaking down and turning them more into commas.
Past the door that could use some repairs is the small interior. Inside, there is almost nothing, except for a small little counter at the far back of the room. From this counter, a pair of two lime green eyes peer over it, with what looks like a hat on top of whatever head is poking out. Two pieces of cloth sit up on the counter as well. Though, as it would turn out, these pieces of cloth belonged to someone.
Candy. A small little creature of unknown race and origin, who wears clothing too large for her own size. Those little pieces of cloth on the counter are actually her hands that are covered by colossal sleeves, waiting patiently for the next person to walk through the door asking for candy.
Candy's her name, and Candy's her game. A little sign is propped up against the counter, written as such:
HEALING CANDY 15G - TIER 1 30G - TIER 2
ARMOR CANDY 15G - TIER 1 30G - TIER 2
AIMNG CANDY 15G - TIER 1 30G - TIER 2
RESISTANCE CANDY 15G - TIER 1 30G - TIER 2
ELEMENTAL RESIS -TANCE CANDY 15G - TIER 1 30G - TIER 2
And so, Candy waits, with her poorly written sign.

Avalon was always quite a lively city with unique qualities appearing every now and then. A mage dressed in a simple maroon cuffed shirt with a black suit vest resting neatly over it along with black pants and what seemed to be black leather boots was doing nothing more than strolling the streets. He wasn't from here. In fact, compared to those who lived here, he was very out of place. A pair of shining metal beads poked out from under his lip to accent the look along with additional piercings decorating his ears that would glimmer from time to time from under strands of hair. His hair was black, highlighted with a glossy streak and his eyes were a purple obsidian with a tired or bored gaze under his bangs. No, he was mage of shadows. Even better, this edgelord was the champion of darkness. And if that wasn't sufficient enough proof? The obsidian sword strapped to his waist was.
He brushed his bangs out of his eyes, turning to look at a... sign? Well, it looked like one but the person who made it seemed to be in a struggle. Seemed new. Looked fun. The mage shrugged and stepped towards the shop that others seemingly ignored. Entering it seemed empty, save for two emerald jewels patiently staring at the door. Who was that and how long were they like that. Valour quickly looked around to see literally nothing there. This was... well awkward to say the least. Valour would step slowly towards the counter, looking around as he made his way to make sure there wasn't something to be missed. But how could you miss something if there was nothing. He stopped in front of the counter, looking at the clothes and then eventually to the... being behind it. The mage teetered from his heels to his toes a couple times, trying to figure out what this exactly was. "Uh..." He cleared his throat, hiding away the previous emotion and glossing it over with a more casual look like he was going to start smalltalk. "Hello. I take it you're the grand owner of this... Shop was it?"

No words could describe how much the little figure's eyes lit up once the champion stepped into the shop. If this creature had ears, they were perked up in interest and excitement. Finally, someone had seemingly willingly stepped into this shop! Candy thought she was going to be sitting here for a couple more weeks, waiting for someone, though it seems she was mistaken. "Yes! That would bwe I, Candy, the owner of twis estwabwishment!" the figure exclaimed from behind the counter.
There was the sound of rapid tapping on wood as Candy's hands began to pat away, "Pwease, come purchwase some candy! I hawve a wot to sell! Chocowates, wock candy, and mwore!" Candy added, reaching her hands down below the counter. She, with some effort, managed to push little jars of candy up onto the counter, struggling to push them further than the far back. The jars were filled with a variety of candy: chocolate, rock candy, gummies, and some others. The candy is very colorful, and the chocolate is shaped like little hearts.

Oh gods, this thing was adorable. Like... Sickeningly adorable. So cute that you'd almost want to be driven to kill it because it was just that illegal. This thing was so short that Valour ended up sitting down on his knees so that he could actually get a better look at what was in stock. Everything looked and smelled like candy. Valour put his hand to his chin to assess the goods in store. [smear:#7B678A]"Hmmmm... How much are the hearts?"[/smear:#47337D:0], he inquired. Valour wasn't much of a person for sweets, chocolate were probably the most tolerable thing that wasn't a fruit or something semi-sweet at best.

"Ah, yes, the chocowate hearts! 15 gold." Candy chimed, before pointing her hands that could be barely seen from behind the counter at her sign, adding "They will restwore your wounds. Feel fwee to twy a sample." It was a small glass jar crammed full of chocolate hearts, while the jar itself was barely latched shut. It appears that Candy had tried to fill it as much as possible without any regard for how much could actually fit in the jar. The chocolates were not damaged or anything, there was just... a lot. The jar had a couple of odd little markings on it in green paint, evident by the small streaks that leaked down the side.

Valour placed gold on the table and plucked out one of the 15G chocolate hearts. They were cute. A small nibble into it and it was really rich with flavour. Not exactly the sugar itself, but it was strong chocolate. [smear:#7B678A]"So what do you use to make them? It's really rich but not super overpowering."[/smear:#47337D:0], he commented. Maybe during a past time he could mix it with warm milk or something, it might make a pretty good hot chocolate. He looked at another jar of chocolates marked as 30G. [smear:#7B678A]"So is there a different flavour with the 30G chocolates and the 15G?"[/smear:#47337D:0] Or did they just have a stronger effect?

"How I make it is a secwet!" The figure chimed, "I'm joking. I conjuwre chocowate, and mwelt it down carefully," Candy began to explain, before taking out a small little kit. "The chocowate is special, giving restorwation to those who eat it! Althowgh, it comes in more cwrude styles," She continued, holding out her sleeve covered hand. Soon, a decent sized chunk of chocolate came to be, with a bunch of rough corners and edges. Candy continued, "I mwelt it down into more refwined bars, and carve the hearts themselves out by hand, and do the details by hand. Then I repeat the pwocess using leftowver chocowate untils I rwun out!" Satisfied with her explanation, Candy moved onto the second question, "Oh, those! They are stwonger in restowation pwoperties."

Despite his edgy emo kid look, Valour couldn't help but break into a grin and laugh. [smear:#7B678A]"You know what?Fair enough!"[/smear:#47337D:0] A magic candy maker. That was honestly the best reason to figure out why they were that good of quality. [smear:#7B678A]"Must have taken you a while to carve them out, they're pretty well done."[/smear:#47337D:0], he said. [smear:#7B678A]"Got any little baggies to carry multiple pieces? I'd love to get some for myself and my goddess. She'd probably like these during her downtime."[/smear:#47337D:0] What? Lady Nocturne into sweets? Psshhhhh. Actually seriously though, she wouldn't mind having some chocolates ok, let the champion do something to spoil the goddess. [smear:#7B678A]"Yeah, I think I'll take ten of the 30Gs, and two baggies if you have any."[/smear:#47337D:0]

Ten of them? That was the most business Candy had in a while! Of course, without a doubt, she would be taking full """advantage""" of such an offer! Not actually taking advantage, but definitely fulfilling the request. "Yes, yes of courwse!" Candy exclaimed, proceeding to respond to the question about carving the hearts, "Well, I have a wot of time to myself, so I spend it cawrving out these hearwts. Once you get the hang of it, it isn't hawrd."
The little candy maker produced a few small bags from underneath the table, and placed them down with a bit of struggle. "Here you awre!" She said, before reaching up. With a lot of trouble, she managed to get the jars of candy open with a small pop and the tiny sound of glass twisting apart. Candy lifted the jar back up, though it just went about halfway above the counter, offering the pieces that the champion had bought to him for taking.

Valour picked up two bags, putting half of both kinds in each bag. [smear:#7B678A]"Thank you. Oh uh, do these little baggies cost anything?"[/smear:#47337D:0], he asked. Candy seemed sweet, heh sweet. But seriously, this thing, whatever it was, was very nice to talk to. Shame no one really seemed to stop in and help the poor soul out. Unfortunately, he's seen a lot of that kind of thing but for more malicious reasons than a simple entrepreneur making a little coin. [smear:#7B678A]"I'll spread word about this shop. Not sure how much that'll help you but, y'know it's got its own little charm here."[/smear:#47337D:0] It's the least he could do. It wasn't out of sympathy that hes doing this, but he could see this creature put heart and soul into her work and people should be giving that more recognition.

"Nyo pwoblem!" Candy exclaimed, patting her hands on the counter, "Oh, nyo, you're fwine! The bags are fwee. Not fair in my eyes to chawrge people for a cawwier!" She added, continuing her excited patting of the counters. It sounded more like a soft pat pat pat pat pat rather than loud banging. The little merchant began to organize some of the items underneath the counter, aka the two "shelves" she had underneath, replying with a happy, "Oh! Spweading word on my shyop would be fantastwic! Not many people stop by, you're the fwirst in a while." Using the chocolate chunk she had conjured earlier, Candy pulled out a small kit, which involved a small device to produce an open flame, some bowls, molds, and a couple other things. It was her chocolate refining kit. Not the biggest thing in the world, but big enough to get the job done and done right. "Yeah, I hear about that chawrm a lot when people stwop by, actuawlly! Something about a high pwitch noise and iwwitatwion." Candy added.

[smear:#7B678A]"That's pretty nice of you."[/smear:#47337D:0] Some vendors charge a couple extra gold for containers, especially in size or they'd charge by weight. Though the weight bit is typically with produce. Valour shrugged, at least her prices were pretty fair for the common wanderer. Valour pocketed the bags and watched Candy setting up and it seemed like she was about to make more chocolate. As she talked about her personal charm, it seemed like she didn't pay much mind to the statements received being more of an insult than a complement. That or she was completely oblivious.
[smear:#7B678A]"Eh, it's not everyone's thing, I'll give it that. But I'm sure children would absolutely love to be here."[/smear:#47337D:0] Most adventurers seemed to be either big, buff, muscle puffs or some scrawny sod that was just starting. Either way, most took things a little too seriously and wouldn't bat an eye at such a cutesy creature and her candied creations. Their loss, this was honestly better than most typical health potions in terms of flavour. He'd at least make sure to spread word to people that might show a better interest than trying to nab a random adventurer. He had connections.[smear:#7B678A] "Well, really the only thing I think might be a little troubling is all this space. Kinda empty y'know? Gives people the impression you might not have anything in stock."[/smear:#47337D:0] She was pretty far back and there was so much space available for her to use.

"Why would childwen wike it here? Is it because of my accent?" Candy asked, looking up from her chocolate station. Of course, she could still barely reach the thing, though regardless, she was setting off to work! She kept her gaze primarily on her chocolate melting, mixing and solidification processes, though the merchant kept listening to what the champion had to say. "I just don't weally have much to bwing into the shyop. I only weally have these jawrs, and even thwen, they aren't that fwull most of the tyime. Plus, I can't even weach high enough to set up any coowl dispways." Candy answered, pouring a bit of melted chocolate into a small, square-shape mold. She could have a heart shape mold, but she felt they looked better when she did it by hand. Plus, saves her a bit of space, as she doesn't need to have a lid for the mold if it's just a square she carves.

[smear:#7B678A]"Well... I wouldn't say just because of your accent. Children love candy. Never really see too many without it somewhere."[/smear:#47337D:0] It didn't even have to be celebratory reasons, but children almost always had candy. Valour leaned on the counter watching the creature person work. He scratched the back of his neck when thinking. She seemed pretty okay with her current inventory but... There was so much space that wasn't getting filled.[smear:#7B678A] "Well... hmm..."[/smear:#47337D:0] He looked at the windows towards the front of the shop.[smear:#7B678A] "What about at least setting up signs there that show what you're selling?"[/smear:#47337D:0] She had a candy shop sign sure, but what about more specific goods?

"How much do kids wike candy? A wot?" Candy asked, looking up from her chocolate making process. She never really left the shop, after all, her powers supplied her with everything she needed to keep the shop operational. So, she never really met any children. Sure, she had in the past, but that was a while ago... for her, anyways.
Signs in the windows, though? Of her products? Well, Candy never thought of that idea. "That's a good idea! But, wouldn't that bwock people from seeing me back here?" Candy asked, looking past Valour to the front windows. "I always thought it'd be easier to swee me fwrom the fwont considerwing how small I am."
