Other: A tall, well built man with sharp, handsome features, Valiant is always seen in a clean pressed suit, typically with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. His right arm was blown off by a powerful bandit lord, and though Valiant slew the bandit, his arm had to be replaced by a mechanical prosthetic manufactured in the city of Automata. First a soldier, then a commander, and finally known as a hero, Gabriel Valencia changed his last name to Valiant, to distance himself from a family he felt no longer apart of. He was hired by Vyridel Academy due to his stunning record and history in training up-and-coming mages, and sees to his job with immense pride and professionalism. Valiant is pragmatic and analytical, preferring to look at the world without rose tinted glasses. He knows how cruel and unforgiving the world can be, and in his military days trained his recruits with that mindset in hand. He finds it difficult separating that "You will probably die" thought process from his current line of work, however he does his best to prime his students for the harsh realities they will face.
