"Well, I was more referring to anything else metal. Say, someone was holding a sword, or one of those metal bo staffs. Accidentally tap a shelf, well... that's a lot of electricity." Alicia said. She was no electrical engineer, but she did go to a school, so she knew metal and electricity didn't mix very well. Though, Theo did bring up the touching it part, which she hadn't thought of. "Yeah, I didn't even think of some random person touching it. Seems like a real nasty surprise, and lawsuit, waiting to happen. Do you at least have some sorta failsafe if something surges? This really seems like a big fire waiting to start." Alicia asked, gesturing towards the metal, electrified shelves. Honestly, maybe she should look into becoming one of those people that get sent to inspect places. Not specifically a health inspector, but, similar.

Theo opens his mouth and then closes it again: it's very obvious that he hadn't exactly thought of that "I....if you'll excuse me for a moment" he says, hurrying back towards the forge, the sounds of power tools carrying forward for about 10 minutes before he re-emerges, slightly singed. "I've added a small force field to the edges of the shelves, hopefully enough of a buffer to prevent anyone from accidentally getting hurt should they brush up against it, though I still advise that you wear rubber gloves, just in case" he continued, wiping the oily residue off of his hands and onto his apron. "I can't believe I forgot about something so elementary as customer safety"

"Eh, it happens. Considering you didn't think of it before, seems like you didn't have any issues to begin with. So, maybe I'm the one overthinking it." Alicia reassured. This conversation gave her the idea of becoming some sort of inspector. It would allow her to very easily scope out places. Hell, she'd probably even be able to easily get her hands on blueprints and security layouts. Now that was an idea worth keeping. The thief gears in her mind began turning about how easily she could exploit such a job- and how many more heists she could pull off. It was perfect, really. She snapped back to reality, giving a slight nod, "You could always just put it in a strong glass case with a lock instead of a electric shelf."

"I mean, I could, but that's such an uninteresting way of displaying my merchandise! This is a store selling remarkable weaponry, not boring and overpriced jewelry!" Theo exclaims, huffing slightly as he runs a hand through his hair "Honestly I'm thankful I have someone else to bounce these ideas off of, it's surprisingly difficult to find inspiration sometimes, especially when you're alone" he said, scratching his beard momentarily. "Are you sure you don't want a custom weapon Miss? It wouldn't take very long, four days at maximum" He asks, leaning against the back wall as he puts his hands in his apron pockets.

There was a small shrug as a response from Alicia. She didn't think it would make the merchandise look bad, especially since it was all weaponry. If anything, a customer might feel safer with it all locked up behind glass but hey, if he was certain it wasn't overpriced jewelry, then who was she to argue? "Ehh... I don't really need a custom weapon. Not to mention, I don't even have the money to afford such a thing. I feel like a thing of really strong pepper spray does a good enough job anyway. You can deflect a sword or shield a bullet but I doubt many people carry a gas mask to prepare for pepper spray." Alicia declined, before getting an idea. A little devious idea. "I mean, unless you were going to offer it for free of course, because I do have a friend of mine who has been looking for a custom weapon." She said. While she may not need a custom weapon, perhaps Amber needed one. Especially for getting through security glass. This might just work.

"I'm afraid that I just can't afford to make a weapon for free: the materials I use are rather expensive, and I'm just barely skimming a profit as is. I can give you an armor and or weapon upgrade at 75% cost though, as a sort of first time buyer discount" Theo says good naturedly, idly scratching at his leg "Pepper spray is a fine sort of deterrent, though now that you mention it maybe I could upgrade the yield of a can by increasing the parts per volume..." he continued, hastily scratching out a set of blueprints "Are there any armor/equipment upgrades you want?"

"Mm... This friend doesn't have a lot of funds and that's who I'd pass it off too, so I think I'm all set in that regard." Alicia responds, lightly waving a dismissive hand, "I personally think my pepper spray is fine. As I said, no one prepares for it. If anything all you would need is a more potent version to be more effective against people." She adds with a small shrug. There didn't really seem to be anything worth doing thief stuff for so she figured she could take her leave. "Nah, I'm quite alright, thanks for the offer though. I gotta get going, told a friend I was gonna help them study." She declines, giving Theo a small wave, "If I ever need weapons or armor stuff, I'll come here. See ya." With that, she left the shop.
