This flier would be found on a bounty board, with a paper fashioned in a way that labeled this as a large scale bounty. Based on the looks of things, this creature was causing trouble at the wrong time of year and had several dens for it to hide its prizes in.

Snowshulking Hoarder? What the actual fuck did she sign up for? Her eyes scanned over the notice over and over, her mind wondering what the actual fuck. This is what everyone's losing their shit about?
She didn't exactly read the notice before signing up for the cause, so that's on her. But still, some sort of creature going around stealing presents was something she wasn't expecting. I mean come on, this sounds so ridiculous. But still, she'll do the task just for the sake of being productive and this'll be good training. And it's not like she'll be doing this alone, right? Supposedly there's gonna be more participants taking this thing down. So there's not much to worry about, unless they're some sort of dickbag who can't work with others. Look she may be a bitch at times, but she knows that she's not some sort of god.
Placing the notice back on the bounty board, she went to go sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for the other participants to arrive. Maybe talk some strategy before going after this Snowshulking Hoarder.

Dez grumbled and sighed. He didn't want to be here. Unfortunately, his sister was out of the city, and despite his objections... he had a duty to take her place. Even if that's exactly what she wanted. The blue haired boy would have accused her of planning this out, but no one would ever be able to expect this coming out. So he had to bite his tongue and deal with it. Besides, people needed help, and as much as he didn't want to bend to his sister's wants and wishes... he couldn't just let this be.
Especially not when some poor kid would wind up lacking a present because some dumbfuck monster decided to ruin their dreams. Like, seriously. There were evil people, there were evil creatures, but this? This was simply monsterous. It was horrific. Should be counted as a war crime, making children cry this time of year. How can it sleep at night knowing it was such a massive dick?
The blueberry finished signing his name and spotted another individual hanging around. With a shrug, the mage wandered over towards the girl and took a seat. The boy gave a curt nod towards the bounty board. "So, I take it you're here for this bounty as well? What do you think the best way to deal with this thing will be?"
They had to make sure they didn't completely obliterate the presents, so just nuking the thing from orbit was off the table. Dez had some good ranged potential in his arsenal, so it might be a good idea to corner the thing and block off escape routes with his crystallokinesis. Then, they could take it from there. However... there was the issue of the fact that Dez had no fucking clue what the hell a snowshucking whatever-the-fuck even was. Or even what it was capable of. They could just round the corner and find themselves face to face with some fuck off Ogre that decides to bite their faces off. Yeah. Real grand. The young man shook himself out of those thoughts, trying to steady his focus on... well... the actual situation at hand. Strategizing and all that crap.

She sat upon the bench waiting for the other participants, listening to some rock music to pass the time. Man when are the others gonna get here, she'd at least like to do some planning beforehand after all. Can't really do that when she's the only one present.
Just as she thought that though, she felt someone take a seat next to her. Pulling out one of her earbuds, she glanced up at whoever was speaking to her. She heard him ask a question about how they planned to go about this quest, and she mulled it over in her mind. Since she didn't know what the fuck a Snowshulking Hoarder was, she couldn't really make any assessments as to what it could be weak against. She hummed before responding with, "Well, since we don't really know much about this creature, we should wait for the others to arrive. I'm kinda thinking that since this thing is called a 'Snowshulking Hoarder', it's gotta be ice based or some shit right? That's kinda what I'm bankin' on, but I'd like to get other's opinions before making some sort of judgement."
Her reasoning was sort of sound, she's trying to use context clues at least.

"Yeah I don't know. I've never heard of this kind of creature in any of my studies. I've never even really heard my sister talk about it either... I wonder if it's a rare beast or something like that? It definitely has to be ice based. Otherwise snow wouldn't be in the name. Hmm..." The blue haired young man tapped on his chin as he thought. His amethyst eyes flashed as he gave a flurry of blinks. "O-oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Dez, Dez Amari. It's a pleasure to be working alongside you today."
The young man lifted his hand and gave her a small two finger wave. "I work at the grand library in Pillar Steppes. You should visit some time. Oh, I wonder if there are any books on this beast there... I should have checked." There he goes lost in thought again. He was muttering thing about mythology, or potentially bestiary encyclopedias. It's possible Mr. Reyas knows about this creature? Perhaps he's seen it before? I wonder what the best way to take this one could be? A sigh escaped his lips and he folded his arms over his chest. And then he remembered he wasn't alone, here. "Er, sorry, I was just trying to think of the best way to deal with this is. You have to think, we're trying to get the presents back, right? So... we need to try and think of the best way to do this without breaking anything." The young man rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, at least, that's the mindset."
Some people walked past, seemingly unaware, or uncaring as to the current situation. Dez followed them with his eyes for a moment, then looked back towards the ground. This was a bit of a puzzle. Amethyst eyes flicked back towards the young girl, eyebrow cocked, shoulders shrugging upwards. "You got any ideas?"

Pan Quinn
Her brows were raised slightly when he went off on a muttering tangent to himself, talking about the creature, it's origins, and whatnot. A lot of what he said was shit that went over her head, she wouldn't even be surprised if others didn't understand his mutterings. She almost didn't catch him introducing himself, but shook herself out of it once she realized he was waiting for a response. "Oh, name's Pan Quinn blueberry." The nickname easily rolled off her tongue without her even realizing it. "And same, pleasure to work with ya too."
After the introduction, Dez went back to muttering information to himself, almost as if he forgot that she existed for a brief moment. Wow this guy says a lot of big words, he's practically word vomiting at this point. Oh he stopped his nerd talk. "Eh, well since we gotta make sure to not fuck up the presents, we can't exactly use overly powerful attacks... So we should focus on capture probably. But until we see what this thing looks like we can't exactly be sure." She blew some hair out of her eyes, looking somewhat annoyed, "It's pretty fuckin dumb that there's no picture or description of this thing. How the hell are we supposed to combat it if we don't know what it fuckin looks like? It could be the size of a two-story house or the size of an ant, and we wouldn't know until it's too late!" Okay so it wouldn't be the size of an ant, but still. That's a bigass flaw to not have any sort of description of the Snowshulking Hoarder.

A while later, a guard approached the few that seemed to gather for the hunt, helmet off and tucked under his arm. He seemed surprised as to how few there were gathered around this special bounty, he was sure that there were more with a heroic tune out there. Oh well. "Word from a scout said that we lot the trail for this creature.", he said, seeming a bit dumbfounded himself. "We'll have word if we've found the creature again, apologies if you lot wanted to help us find this creature."
