Theres nothing like a good pint and a comfy armchair after a successful hunt. While normally Yuri would hunt large mythical types of game, his last hunt was more domestic in a way. His last hunt was in the periphery, hunting down a rather large mountain lion that was threatening a farmer's flock of sheep. Definitely not his normal line of work, but more challenging than he originally thought it would be. But the reward was nice, so there was a good feeling in blowing off a little steam at one of his favorite taverns in Avalon; The Mermaid's Harbor.
Something about the tavern was kind of cozy despite the fact that it was a bit more nautical themed. Not the blue and white type of nautical, but the warm browns and ragged nature of a pirate ship kind of nautical. Either way, the atmosphere was warm and surprisingly inviting.
The hunter absently sipped at his ale, watching the other occupants of the tavern go about their days. He didn't want to look at the quest boards just yet, for now he just wanted to relax for a little bit.

Bounties. That's all Maz went to places for. He had no interest in socializing, shopping, etc. His only interest was to take all the bounties against large or larger monsters, complete them, and move on. This location was no different for the monster hunter. It was mostly what he was known for- showing up, slaying big monsters and then leaving.
Maz entered the Mermaid's Harbor. Alcoholic drinks never caught his attention, but taverns had bounties. He could drink, sure, but he was just never fond of the idea of it. Especially a "buzz" or getting drunk overall. Upon walking in, his eyes scanned for a bounty board, intentionally avoiding the gazes of others. Upon setting his sights on one, he approached it and looked over its contents.
If there was a bounty about hunting a monster, Maz took it down. With the papers now in his possession, he approached the man running the tavern. He placed the papers down on the counter, "...I wish to take all of these bounties." Maz simply stated.

The woman behind the bar, Clio, both the owner and the acting bartender, was busy with a few other patrons. She spoke to those sitting at the bar with a friendly and warm smile. As if it was as easy as breathing, she was pouring and mixing drinks, dishing them out before turning back to the kitchen to shout for a few orders.
When the newest patron walked over, standing beside another particular bounty hunter in a red trench coat, Clio looked up with a warm smile. Her eyes flickered down to the several papers, still mixing a drink in her hands. "Thats quite a bit, isnt it? Shouldnt you take one or two at a time?" She dished out the drink that she was making to the patron it belonged to before drying her hands and walking closer to the bounty hunter.
Yuri, mostly out of curiosity, leaned over to look at the bounties as he sipped at his ale. He gave a soft hum, looking Maz up and down as he raised his mug to his lips. He glanced over one that was exposed, "that one looks kind of tough to take alone." His voice was soft, speaking mostly to himself but just loud enough to hear.

Maz did his thing where he avoided making eye contact, his head more looking off to the side rather than at her. He didn't socialize much, nor did he feel all that comfortable being so social. His eyes looked up at Clio, the hunter responding with, "...No. Other hunters might get hurt or killed taking on bounties. I have to ensure that doesn't happen. I'll take them all."
The monster hunter turned to look at Yuri. After a moment of silence, Maz responded with, "I've taken on countless monsters alone. It'll just be another monster down, tough or not." He really didn't want to get other hunters involved, especially since his whole thing was protecting other hunters from monsters.
"If you please, I would like to take them all." He requested to the bartender. He didn't want to leave even a single bounty. He knew some people saw him as selfish, trying to take all the bounty prizes for himself, but he didn't even accept the money. He adjusted the greatsword on his back, hoping for a good answer.
