Sunlight shone with few clouds out in the sky over the Archtree and its surrounding forest. The place was dense with plant life, the Archtree only visible as the largest tree and deemed the first tree on Tir. Surrounding forests quickly changed into jungles or dense thickets depending on the area and where you went. Many made the place a home here. The forest surrounding the Archtree became subject to territorial grounds, but the area beneath the Archtree's grand branches as well as the lower section of the trunk and branches of the tree became home to many devoted followers of Willow, leaving it as a neutral zone outside of skirmishes for territory and a sacred place where fights were not allows for the sake and safety of the tree and patron goddess.
Further out in the forest, not quite at the edge and not quite near the tree, at a perfect midpoint, a black figure floated through the area. The sound of leaves rustling in the wind and crystal clear birdsong rang through the branches in the canopy, leaving the forest floor shrouded in dim light with what few bits of sun could peek through the leaves. Alternative light was provided with plant life that had the ability to glow either passively or when disturbed.
In more densely populated city areas, there's been a recent rise of drug trades, including new drugs comprised of rumoured plants in the area. So who was this black figure floating around? They were careful not to disturb the plants if they could help it, seemingly sifting around and brushing against a leave or two from a fern. A soft green glow trailed behind them as they moved. Whenever they made a stop, they would bring up a green panel of light, scanning a plant and then matching up to a record of flora to see if it was anything new or not.
The forests seemed to just advance on their own after the progenitors Willow set, just like the fauna that Maisha created, so now it was a matter of cataloguing and then showing and discussing with Willow any new developments made as well as recording the drugs made and what they do. Not that Aurora was into that, it's just a force of habit to record as much information of the world she can for the Astral Library in the Temple of Night. But that's a story for another time.

Even without sight, one could appreciate nature and the world. That's how Aurora "viewed" everything. She lacked sight, though the beauty of the forest was still around her. The clear, fresh air that breezed warmly by her. The dirt was soft beneath her bare feet, the plants gently brushing by her as she maneuvered through the area. She had lived in this forest for almost all of her life, deeming herself its guardian, caretaker and ruler. Whenever someone approached the forest, that she was aware of, she would go and talk to them to see what they were up to. She even sometimes "granted passage," like how she did with the Willow followers, as if her permission meant something. She did lack knowledge of the gods.
This was one of her routine patrols. She would wander the forest for a while, looking for any injured or diseased animals and/or plants, anyone who was in the forest that she didn't say could enter, that sort of stuff. She also would go around and delicately gather from plants, taking what she got back to her "home" for either food, for her own little garden or to keep building up her reservoir of herbs. After spending so long in the forest she had figured out what to do and how to operate and it was all she knew how to do.
Aurora had some concerns. She had heard from some people she came across that some of the plants in the forest were being used as whatever drugs were. Apparently something that the use of was frowned upon and had negative health effects in those using them. She adjusted the cloth covering her eyes as she walked, thinking about the topic. She wanted to figure out a way to protect the plants so that way they could not be used for such purposes. She was mostly thinking about building some little fences around them, or just moving them around.
She decided to check in with one of the plants and that was how she learned of a very mysterious person in her forest. She didn't remember anyone asking for her permission, so, she might as well go to say hello to this trespasser. She didn't even know if that was the right word, but, so be it. She fixated her sword to her waist, the one she found at her camp alongside the old throne and made her way over to the other Aurora.
It took her a bit to reach her destination, using the plants as her way of tracking the mysterious person, "Hey." She called out as she approached the area, "Who are you and what are you doing in my forest?" She asked in a sly tone, crossing her arms over her chest.

[smear:#00FF66]"Hm? Bwuh?"[/smear:#FFE959:0] Aurora turned around and looked down, finding a blindfolded person there claiming this place as her forest. Not her home, her territory. [smear:#00FF66]"I'm sorry, I think you might be mistaken, this forest is a subdistrict of the Arch-Tree."[/smear:#FFE959:0], she said, landing on the ground. [smear:#00FF66]"Name's Aurora. Avatar of Night. Seeker of information. Aide of the Stars."[/smear:#FFE959:0]
The not blind Aurora sounded pretty friendly enough. She seemed to know something else though, something the other Aurora was literally blind to. [smear:#00FF66]"I'm cataloguing something for Lady Willow herself actually. Who are you?" [/smear:#FFE959:0]
The weight distributed in her feet on the mossy floor told Aurora that the other was fairly relaxed. She didn't seem to be a threat and didn't give off the feel of being a threat herself.

"Hm... I don't think so." Blind Aurora responded, placing one hand on her chin in a thinking pose, "Oh yeah, that Arch-Tree thing. I've had to give a few people permission to go see it. Not sure what the big deal is, all I hear is that it's some giant tree." She says with a small shrug, returning her arm to cross over the other. "Pretty sure this forest belongs to me."
If Aurora's eyes could be seen, she would be giving the other Aurora a very confused look. "Wait, you're also named Aurora? Oh, man this is going to get confusing fast." She replied, mumbling the last part as a complaint. She continued her little introduction, "Hm, cataloguing? I don't remember being asked permission... I don't know who this Lady Willow is, but she could have at least asked beforehand." She retorted.
"I am Aurora, guardian and caretaker of this forest. Those who pass through here tend to pass through with my permission, of course. Some people have been talking about plants here being made into drugs. Whatever those are, I hear they're bad, so you better not be here to make them." Aurora finally introduces after her lengthy rambling about how she was in charge.

Aurora blinked. The girl was blind but she really wasn't aware just whose forest this truly was? Wild. Whatever floated her boat, she guessed. Though maybe Willow should visit this girl, not like she was in trouble or anything. She didn't seem officially a member of Willow's following, at least in terms of priests and priestesses that grant blessings of the Arch-Tree.
[smear:#00FF66]"Lady Willow is the goddess of flora."[/smear:#FFE959:0], Aurora said, figuring she'd at least try to explain the simpler parts. [smear:#00FF66]"She's the one who made this forest."[/smear:#FFE959:0] She made almost all of them. [smear:#00FF66]"The Arch-Tree is the first tree. It's sacred to Lady Willow and all the trees that make the forest around it are of its lineage." [/smear:#FFE959:0]
[smear:#00FF66]"Oh actually, that's what I'm cataloging for. Lady Willow's also heard of these plant drugs and wanted me to find, identify, and label their exact effects. Have any idea where they are or nah?"[/smear:#FFE959:0]
