*just as the sun dissapears into the skyline you reach Hurricane keep. its a lovely city. Make up of pastels of greens and blues, sometimes purples or yellows, buildings composed of clay or stone, many bridges lining tops of buildings and flags/banners or other items that flow in the wind wind the streets, special chimes hanging around light posts give a glow when moving. This was his home. he smiles back to his new companion* "This is it. Hurricane keep. Home sweet home" *his eyes seem to smile along with his mouth and his person seems to have a light glow to him in the darkness the brightest of which came from his eyes. a pure bright blue like a moon staring back at you. his cloak also caught differently in moonlight then it did sun. the fabric seemed to shiver like it was made of the night sky itself*

She looked through the city in slight awe. Well- it was nothing like home... Her home was so beautiful, a city built high up in the trees. Using the natural world as their safety. This place had its own appeal, but being in a city once more made her homesick. A small sigh escaped her as she walked through the streets. Her eyes drifted to Joel and she noted how different his appearance was at night. Thank the gods they weren't in the woods, he was a beacon of light screaming 'EAT ME' to all who spotted it. She turned her attention to the buildings to hopefully spot an inn where she could stay for the night. " How long have you lived here?" she asked. She hoped to get at least a bit more information before they parted ways. Though he seemed like a terrible informant...

*he seemed to have a skip in his step now* "All my life. I was born and raised here. Haven't been aloud to adventure on my own until just recently tho." *he smiles to her and looks back at the street.* "You need an Inn right?"

Funny how he said he lived his whole life here. Though when pressed upon more details before he said he didn’t know. How suspicious. Nienna said nothing though, it was best to keep such thoughts to herself after all. She would need to sell off the last of her belongings to scrounge up money for lodging. It was only a temporary solution though. She would have to move on somewhere else or find a way to make coin. Though she didn’t know where to start on that matter.
“Yes. Preferably a modest one.” Not one that could barely hold itself together. That was just asking to run into trouble. Not like she could afford gaudy inns anyways. She didn’t want to deal with another fucking nobleman or merchant with an ego bigger than their bank account.

*he nods and picks up pace looking at certain signs and crossing through aleeys and things out of the lights of the main streets. Normally this would be hella shady but he seems to just be going on like this is situation normal. He reaches the front of a cute little in. It was small, the kind that house many only 2 groups of people at the time with a pleasant eating area below.* "This one here is good, they don't charge a lot just like to help out an honest traveler. They won't mind so long as you don't steal, plus he you ask I'm sure they'll let you waiter some tables when their busy in exchange for some cash if you need it. The owner is old and can't do much work themselves anymore so they always welcome help." *he smiles to you once again hoping he was helpful to his new friend. Most often times just found him to be annoying so he was glad that she stuck around this long, even if it may possibly be from lack of options*

Nienna really does not like the very apparent fact they are slipping through alleys. He acted as if that was completely normal and that raised alarm bells for her. This wasn't normal and at any moment he could turn around and threaten her in the dark. A stranger could take advantage of her that way- though again, Joel didn't seem the type, the mask could be coming off. They paused before a quaint looking inn. This was good enough for her. It seemed pleasant and like most people left it well enough alone. " Oh. How much does being a waiter pay?" She asked. Nienna had no clue about regular civilian life. She wasn't sure if she wanted to just wait on tables for the rest of her life. All this freedom and she chooses that amongst everything? No. She wanted something more...exciting. Dangerous, yes, but when wasn't she in danger? She began to head towards the inn to investigate it further and rent a room for the night or two. Perhaps more if the rates were cheap.

"I'm sorry I'm not sure...never worked before. I just talk to the owner and help them out every now and then. I'm sure she could answer any questions tho." *heading closer to the building you could see from the window that it was pretty busy for how well put away it was. Inside were customers of all sorts. Joel continued to fallow. Whether it was from not knowing when to part ways or that one should be given space is hard to say.*

Nienna's eyes focused on the window as she studied the patrons inside. Her hand rested upon the inn door before she heard trailing footsteps and turned around. She raised a brow as she found Joel following her to the inn. "Aren't you supposed to be heading home? Your family must be worried about you," she said. Besides, it would look a bit strange having a full-grown woman enter an inn with a young teenage boy. She shuddered to think of the implications that might bring.

*he pauses and you see his blue cheeks darken with a sparkling blue of embarrassment* "O-oh right sorry-It was nice meeting you." *he bowed and rushed off to his home. Disappearing into the shadows of the street despite the glow he had to him. Not too far off he heads into the bottom floor of a darkly lit building, his home.*
