Out On the Town

Work was great and all! She really does love her job. But gods she needs a fucking break. A great thing she's managed to finish everything yesterday. Being somewhat in charge of her own schedule is amazing. She still works for Ty but any excuse to spend time with him is nice and also she does need some kinda schedule to keep her sane. As much as she isn't the biggest fan of them.

With her day off though she wants to do something special. Also, test her courage a bit since it's super difficult for her to do this still. She pulls up the ResLink hooked in her arm and sends a message to Luna. Yeah, they know each other but she really hopes she isn't gonna annoy the girl or anything. But Luna's cool and badass! She could easily kick Louise's ass which is both impressive and admittedly scary. She saw how she snapped Ty like a fucking twig.

Louise: Hi Luna! It's Louise in case you didn't know. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out today. I dunno what we could do. Maybe go out somewhere, go shopping, games? Anyways just let me know

Annnd send! It's too late to go back now. Though she feels a nervous sweat kiss her brow for a moment. Haha, it's fine this is chill. She still doesn't quite know what to do in the friendship or romantic relationship department. Speaking of... Should she tell Luna? Well- maybe one little joke, as a treat. She's not sure if she and Luke have finally gotten together as they should yet. Another good question to ask was did she already know? It's possible. Ty probably already told her right?

Now all she can really do is sit around and wait for Luna to reply. Might as well get some outside chores done. But that means just leaving her workshop. Not like the place she lives has much of a backyard. She is great with machinery, not greenery.

Luna laid on her back on the bed in her room. She seemed to be a bit frustrated with Luke. Man was still denying his feelings. She didn't bring it up again for the time being since it was going to be a back and forth with him anyways. All she could do right now was toy with him, and she had to wait for the guy to show at the Triangle and know when he was gonna do that so she wasn't off. She'd probably listen out for any sign of bringing a friend because at that point, it was assured.

Her reslink, a crystal tablet in purple, lit up as it pinged in a message. She rolled over and picked it up, flicking through the screen a couple times and then reading the message from Louise.

Oh, yeah sure! I'll be a few minutes, meet me by the music shop in like half an hour.

She had gotten a bit of gold from her job that she could spend. Of course, she paid some of the utilities to split with Luke too, that was only fair. But this also gave her a good chance to know Louise a bit more and explore town a bit more thoroughly. She got dressed in her normal attire. Black semi-fitting clothing that showed off her curves. A pair of beige thigh-high stockings with brown cat paw prints on them. She got herself into a pair of slip-on white sneakers, and her simple look was complete.

Luna looked herself over in the mirror. She needed a larger wardrobe change, now that she thought about it. At least they were going shopping, so this was a good opportunity to expand on that.

She gasps excitedly upon seeing the reply. Ah yes! She wants to hang out!!! Louise, ever the eager girl, is already up on her feet and moving. She skates her way over to the music shop. This was gonna be a good day. She hopes. Best to try and stay positive about this. Wait- hold on did she have old on her? She pats down the pockets of her dress and nods. Yep! More than enough.

Her dress is a soft purple boned bodice with a nice pleated skirt to boot with pockets of course. She decided to leave her hair down today and put on a simple pair of flats over her robotic legs. Shoes have a weird feeling and she's not sure if she likes it. But shoes are necessary so she's not gonna skip out on them for the sake of comfort. She thinks she looks nice enough. She should get more colors in her closet beyond pastels and black. Eh she'll worry about that later.

She is now standing outside the music shop idly twirling her hair and rocking on her feet as she peers about her surroundings. She wonders how long it would take Luna to get here. Hope not too long, she doesn't want to get in trouble for awkwardly lurking about the entrance of a shop. Gosh, what are they gonna do? She can list some stuff but her brain panics at making a decision. Mostly since she wants to be courteous to Luna and her interests and stuff. She did invite her to hang after all. She's gonna give herself a quick pat on the back for that because it was HARD.

Luna walked over to the store. Weather was super nice today, which was typically a good sign. At least to her understanding, good weather also brought along good moods. It didn’t take too long for Luna to show up at the store. A couple hops through shadows here and there definitely cut the distance a bit. Luna raised a hand and waved at Louise. “Hey.”, she said. Even if Luna had lived here a bit longer now, the place was still a maze of unknowns. At least she knew where certain key places were by now. “What’s up?”

Well the other question was what was first on their list of things to do for the day too. Luna would probably let Louise take the lead for most of this trip. She thought about it. Louise is probably the first girl aside from Izzy that she was on friendly terms with. Any other girl was one she threw hands with, and won for anyone counting.

She spots the white-haired foxy lady before Luna approaches. She's already giving a big enthusiastic wave as she comes her way. "Hi Luna!" She says with a cheerful disposition. It's to hide all the anxiety knawing at the corners of her mind at the moment. "I've been doing great. Lots of good new things happening." Louise debates whether she wants to regale bits and pieces in detail.

However, she has a feeling a simple 'How are you' is not to be responded with a monologue of all the new shit that's gone down. She'll keep it to herself...for now. "How are you? Whatcha been up to?" She asks with a tilt of her head. Oh right, since they met up now they should get going to where it was they were going. ...Wait Louise didn't settle on that either. Dammit!

"Where would you like to go first? We could always get some food somewhere. Or go check out some new shops. It is getting colder so they are selling the cutest clothes ever for the colder parts of the year. I do need a jacket or two now that I think about it... " She mostly had no use for those things since her limbs previously weren't sensitive to the cold.

But now they were so fuck she has to get long sleeve stuff now. ...She could steal some of Ty's but he also needs those so no sweatshirt stealing today.

Luna wasn’t super hungry at the moment, so she didn’t seem to have an inclination to go to a food place unless Louise was hungry. It was just about time for eateries to start with making lunch too. It wasn’t that breakfast foods were bad, she just wasn’t feeling for it.

“Been working at the Tirangle, like usual. Buuuuuut…” Luna seemed really excited about something. “The Bartender is training me to hone in on my shadow magic.” She could do so much more now with it and had such a better understanding of how this type of stuff worked. “It’s honestly super nice of him to do that.” Her training wasn’t done, but she should get something to give him for the occasion. After all, The Bartender’s actually given her so much.

“Ehhhh, let’s do some window shopping first. Been meaning to get some new clothes since I got here. I mean unless you’re hungry, we could go grab a bite first.” Luna was trying to be somewhat polite. “Besides, there’s this plan at work to fuck with Luke, and I gotta get that stuff prepared.” Most of it was outfits. And all of them were, for lack of a better word, lewd. “See like, I’m not sure if Ty mentioned it or nah, but.. So basically…” Luna seemed to be having a hard time putting it into words. “Luke’s an idiot. He took me out on a date but has been denying it’s a date this whole time. He keeps saying it was an outing, a day to catch up and stuff. Kept saying shit like this was ‘my day’.” But that wasn’t on her birthday. “It’s like, mega frustrating that he’s denying it so hard. So instead of using words, we’re going to use outfits.” Besides, fucking with Luke was so much more fun than having to pummel words into his ears until he got it.

“Oh, um. So what new stuff’s happening with you?”, Luna asked, not to get too caught up in her own plans.

    Louise perked up hearing the excited tone in Luna's voice. Excitability is contagious, especially if Louise is around. "Woah- What?! You've been learning shadow magic? That's sooo fucking cool. I wanna see-! If that's ok with you of course," she adds a little nervously. She just thinks magic is neat. It's why she likes technomancy so much. The other aspects are cool but she can't seem to focus long enough to learn beyond basic information. It's certainly not enough to cast spells in other aspects that's for sure. "How long have you been learning for?" She may not be gifted with the stuff but she sure loves learning about it and seeing other people do cool magic shit.

    "Oh no it's fine I'm not hungry just thought I'd ask," she says. It was getting near that time and Louise could always eat if someone asked. She just isn't up for food right now. It's probably the nerves having a fucking party in her stomach. So great... "A plan to fuck with Luke or fuck with Luke?" She asks a cheeky grin growing on her face along with a string of giggles. If she gets hit for that she's well aware she deserves it but she couldn't resist. "Well I'm happy to help you plan and execute your plans of fuckery!"

    Seriously she loves messing with people. She's just too anxious to do it on her own most of the time. But give her permission and she will go crazy. Ty did mention briefly the problem Luna was describing. Luke did sound really dumb. Like- why deny it at this point? What's he trying to do? Deny himself happiness...? ...Knowing Luke- well what she knows of Luke- seems accurate.

    Louise lets out a scandalized gasp once Luna finishes her story. "What a fucking-" she shakes her head and her nose scrunched up. "It makes no sense. I don't get it. I'm sure it's really annoying. I like your plan though. Hit him where it hurts. Make him crumble like the topping of an apple tart." An oddly specific metaphor but ok. "Do you have any clothing stores in mind already?" She would love to go crazy with outfit ideas, but she doesn't know what would make Luke have a mental breakdown or what Luna was even comfortable with.

    She blinked in surprise when the topic shifted to her. "Me? Oh- well..." She rubs the back of her neck and her eyes take in the architecture as a distraction. "Got new updates to my limbs. Luke and I worked on that together which was super fun! Work is the same as usual oh and Ty and I are dating now so..." She feels her face grow hot admitting that they were in fact, 'a thing', as the kids say. "I-I dunno if he told you that yet."

“Several months now. I’ve gotten sooo much better from where I was.” She could only do two basic spells back then but now? She’s able to do so much more like send a dumbass straight to the shadowrealm. “Still got a lot to learn though.” At least she was being honest about that.

“Both if shit actually works out. Like, as long as I’ve known the dumbass, he’s slow to catch on feelings that aren’t rage.” Luna sighed. How many outfits would she need to grab and hide from Luke? It’s likely she’d need to hide them at her locker in the Triangle so that way Luke wouldn’t stumble on it. Extra security and stuff. “Yeah so like, we need to find a store with some really cute, but super lewd attire.”

As the two started off to find a store with things like that, Luna stopped and stared really hard at Louise. “Wait, deadass? That baseball capped shit got action going before me?” And she was the one with a lead on before him too. Fucker. She couldn’t get too upset about it, at least he wasn’t working with someone so dense. “Congratulations.”, she guessed. She sounded a bit miffed but ecstatic, at least for Louise. “I wish Luke wasn’t such a fucking brainlet, because I’d have beaten Ty in getting some.”

    "That's awesome! Honestly I should be more consistent with my technomancy if I wanna see improvements but I've been busy," she says with a sigh. Work and making new friends and all that has her pretty booked up. Also, she's just sorta forgotten along the way sometimes that it's something she needs to work on if she wants to improve.

    She can say she's pretty dense herself. But, Luke was funnily a whole different level of dense. That- or Ty is ridiculously straightforward. Probably a mix of both these things. Louise hums in thought upon hearing Luna's request. Louise had never had a reason to go to these stores before. But she does now. ...OH SHE DOES NOW OH MY GOD. Even she's still trying to comprehend the fact that she has a boyfriend.

    "I think I've seen a few stores in passing. Never really went in myself- unless they had rave clothes actually." That was the only exception. She mostly just like that style of clothing and they had some cute individual pieces anyways. She knows where to go- she thinks. Maybe. She's never been great with directions. She is trying to remember if her ResLink has some sort of map device. She pulls it up on her arm and takes a look.

    "Alrighty! Super cute store for super cute super sexy transformation this way!" she says cheerily pointing in a direction before pausing and looking at the map. "I mean- uh- This way!!!" She said, changing her direction and walking with Luna towards their destination.

    Louise almost didn't notice Luna stopped until she turned to say something and saw the woman a few feet back standing still. Did she say something wrong? She was only just describing recent even- OOOOOH. Ty you motherfucker why didn't you tell her already?!

    "W-Well I mean, he was sorta making it hard to miss that he was into me," she said. She could feel her face grow hot remembering all the comments he was teasing her with that day. Especially what he whispered in her ear, holy fuck she thought she was just gonna shut down like one of her machines. Louise gave a little laugh hearing the miffed tone in Luna's voice. "I'm shocked he didn't tell you yet and I'm shocked he even liked me at all! Besides you're gonna be getting some soon. We're gonna make sure of it. If Luke is still dense after thi-" she shakes her head and her brows furrow. That would be REALLY hard to miss.  She thinks Luke would just be in straight up denial town at that point.  She's gonna have to think of back up plans in case this plan isn't working.  Which- according to her calculations.  Was suuuuper unlikely.  

She would think. She tends to be pretty oblivious to this stuff. That's why she's so grateful Ty is so straightforward even if it's gonna kill her sometimes. "Do you already have some outfits in mind? Color schemes? Certain themes? What are we thinking for strategies?"

“I mean, training and stuff happens when you have time for it. The Bartender’s just been giving me a window for training so that I could improve.” Honestly made it so much nicer than a ‘when she could’ basis. She gave a shrug, it’s not like doing it at one’s own pace was a bad thing.

Of course, that train of thought was totally dismissed when they finally hit the shopping district for things all cute, lewd, and sexy. Fuck Ty’s bluntness. Luna was going to have fun with Luke one way or another.

The first store they went into had all sorts of things. It looked like heavy rave material mixed with fluffy lingerie looking things. A kinky rave store. Nice. A quick look around and it looked like they were in a Red Light district of sorts. There was going to be a lot of fun stuff here. “White and black is always a good go to for me, but if I find something cute in colour, I’ll go for that too.” The two would walk into the first store and sift around. Luna plucked something up from a rack, a skimpy, fuzz lined bikini. The feathers that made the fuzz were already flowing off in small pieces. It would be such a pain to clean up. And the fabric looked so delicate. She put it back.

Next to it was a black bikini with cat motifs. The lower half had these little points that made cat ears, and the top had a window over the chest that was cat shaped with a little pink embroidery outlining it. “Oh this would work.”, she said. “Louise, you wanna double down on some of these outfits with me? I think a white version would look great on you!”

Making time for stuff was hard! Well- not really. Louise COULD make time to work on technomancy if she wanted to, she just didn't. She doesn't know why she should! That's pretty much where the thought ends as she is quickly distracted. Louise realizes she sort of missed the rest of the answer and nodded along. That's surely a good enough and sufficient reply to the last part of what Luna said. Darn it brain!

Louise gave an excited gasp seeing the store they walked into. Some of this stuff is just cute enough to wear on its own! For Louise anyways... She starts grabbing at some silly and sexy accessories and trying them on. "Yeah, you can't go wrong with black and white honestly..." Louise just loves her colors. She begins grabbing at random sets and holding them up before setting them back down and moving on to something else. There was just so much to grab and look at her mind is overloading.

She picks up a rose translucent bodysuit with rhinestoned chains pooling along the corners and curves. She shakes it eagerly seeing the gems shimmer in the shifting light and giggles. Luna's declaration beckons her attention and she sets the bodysuit aside.

"Aw that's so cute!" She exclaims reaching out to grab touch the outfit Luna picked out. She pauses and drops the piece upon registering Luna's suggestion. "I-I what? Really? I mean it is super cute. I don't know if I would ever- oh who am I kidding I'll just try it on!" She says grabbing a matching white set in her size.

"Should we get more or decide on just one?" Louise is all for one to go crazy on spending sprees. But she is also not to be trusted with spending sprees usually. She grabs a sheer black set with a ruffled top that slips off the shoulders and holds it up proudly to Luna awaiting an opinion on her selection.

“Well, Luke’s brain is thicker than this ass. Like, at least 3 c’s. We’re going to need more than one outfit, definitely.” Luna said, raising a finger as she made her point. “He’d see this outfit and go through emotions, sure. But he won’t get it until he, like, you know, gets it.” Who knows how many outfits that would be. And if they ran out? Obviously they’d go shopping for some more.

Luna looked over at Louise’s pick. Not only could she see herself wearing it, but she felt that she and Louise were kindred spirits in fashion and shenanigans and she could also rock that. “Off the shoulders is a nice touch. Subtle, yet classy. Yeah, let’s get that.”

She sifted through some more clothes, pausing to run over and grab a basket so that way they could carry everything to the dressing rooms. “Thank fuck I have a locker at the Triangle to hide these from him. Else these outfits have a chance of getting found and I can’t let that happen.”, she said, mostly to herself. “Oh! What about this one? Can’t go wrong with this!” Luna plucked off a maid outfit that had a window for cleavage as well as a ruffled lace crown accessory. “Definitely going to be one of those hard hitters. Gonna wear this down the line if he’s close but still not getting it.”

It almost seemed wrong, teasing Luke like this. He brought this upon himself. He’s the one blue balling himself so that’s not Luna’s problem. She was just teasing him harder than the edgiest rimjob you could give someone with a fashion show.

"Fair point, fair point," Louise replied with a nod. Luke was probably going to kick her ass for bringing up the fact that they were both madly in love with each other. Would it be that hard to just frickin' kiss? Apparently, yes. "By getting it, are we referring to the thicc ass of yours?
" She asks already chuckling at her own stupid joke. Well, Luke certainly was going to get something. That's for sure.

Louise looks so proud of herself when Luna agrees with her choice. She hooks the hangar on her arm and continues to look on. Her eyes were already bouncing to the brighter colors. She also picked up a few garters and then looked down at her own robotic limbs questioningly. It could be cute- or cause a lot of errors. Like fishnets. Fishnets were so cute but they always got tangled up in the joints and- yeah maybe no garters for her. Luna could though.

"I'm sure Luke is so dense that if he saw those outfits he wouldn't even begin to guess why they were there or what was gonna be done with them," She says, smirking. The pink-haired gal visible lit up and gasped upon seeing the maid outfit. Louise then held up the pair of garter belts and tights that match perfectly with the maid outfit. "Absolutely. I love this it's so cute and frilly!!!" She practically squeals.

She's grabbing a maid outfit for herself. It's not even for Ty she just likes it that much. She nearly drops the maid outfit when she spots something else out of the corner of her eye. She goes to rush off before turning around and neatly dropping the selected pieces into the basket Luna picked up. Then off she goes back towards what caught her eye in the first place.

Louise picked up a pale pink corset with matching panties that had heart-shaped bows on the sides. She begins to look and see if there are other color options for Luna as well. There's the classic black and white, along with a lilac, baby blue, and deep red set as well. "Whatcha think of this?"

“Damn fucking right.”, Luna said without any hesitation. She won’t deny that she had cake. It was a travesty Luke was forcing himself to not get some of this. “He probably wouldn’t, but I don’t want him asking why I have them.” That defeated the point of a surprise too didn’t it? Luna looked over. “Oooh, yes. We’re getting these! The frills match so perfectly with the lace on the skirt.”, Luna said. Louise had good taste, and that was dangerous for both of them. They could easily match each other’s styles without question if they were able to connect things this fast.

She sifted through the clothing racks some more. Black was great on its own, but she had to toy with other concepts too. Black would never get old, but trying something different to spice things up would definitely also stick. “Ohh this corset’s cute. Hmmm… I need to find a skirt to match with it too.” That wasn’t very hard to do. She matched a lilac with white markings all over with a skirt that had a gradient to a dark purple. “It almost feels like I’ll be going to a ball in this.”, she said, holding the pieces over herself in a mirror.

“Oh! What about these!!” Luna caught sight of something and then came back with a jacket. It was white inside and the outside had a prismatic cyan-to-magenta outside that was very shiny. “If I wear, like, a bra under this or a small-cut top it would look so hot, especially under the rave lights!”

Louise had to build her cake. ...Quite literally. Though it was sort of a weird discussion to have with Luke. It ended up with them screaming 'thicc thighs' at the top of their lungs like feral gremlins. "Yeah I guess- but BUT you could say they're for someone and not specify who and make him jealous.
Does seem the jealous type-" Or it could backfire completely as he misreads the signals and resigns himself to misery for Luna's happiness. Ugh, so cute and tragic and fucking stupid. "On second thought maybe not that might cause some unexpected and unnecessary drama..."

"Fuck yeah! Frills!!!" She loves frills. Louise is as girly as they get, if she was allowed she would make all of her inventions cute colors... but that's more expensive. These two are a dangerous fashion team. They're going to make everyone's heart stop with how good they look.

She grabs a corset for herself, in multiple colors, she can't decide ok? She'll figure it out when she tries them on. Louise resists the urge to make a dirty joke at the ball comment but nods in agreement. The pink-haired girl gasped in excitement as seeing the rave gear. "Um? Hell yes? If you don't get this I'm definitely grabbing it. Might even steal it from you it's so cute!!! We just gotta try these on now!" She's practically zipping off towards a dressing room.
