*A ruined tome fashioned in leather, discussing attempts at testing the boundaries of pure Arcane magic, and the resulting spells made from said testing. Read at your own risk*
Spell name: Arcane Displacement
Spell Main Element: Arcane
Spell Sub Elements: None
Affinity Strength: 6 at base
Function:
You fill an object or willing person with pure Arcane Magic, willing the target to be separated into ether, recreating itself at another point that you can see within exactly ten feet. There is no exception to this movement unless the spell is altered by an outside party. If there is a wall at exactly ten feet, the item will recreate itself in said wall. If the item attempts to recreate itself in something suffused with mana (or, in the case of living things, as all current tests have shown), the item will instead be forced away from the item before recreating itself, leading to shrapnel or human viscera spraying randomly away from the target.
All testing shows that casting this with a higher suffused amount of mana does not let you increase the amount of distance to be teleported, but lets you reduce the teleportation distance by a set amount instead. Requires more testing with those of an incredibly higher affinity.
Affinity 6: Exactly 10 feet.
Affinity 7-8: Can be reduced by 1 foot.
Affinity 9: Can be reduced by 2.5 feet.
Affinity 10: Inconclusive, but the calculations assume it can be to an amount of 5 feet of variability.
[Gonna add more to this later, but wanna post shit in other places as well fuckos]
Availability: Open, requires a visit to the Library Arcana
