The most obviously noticeable thing about Seiko upon meeting her is that her complexion and her hair seems subtly off, there's a strange metallic sheen although this is most obvious in her eyes. This is actually due to her being a technological marvel of organic metals rather than being truly flesh and blood.
Her hair is a deep black-brown with a very dark blue metallic sheen to it when it catches the light and is very long, reaching down to her thighs when sitting fully straight. However she almost always ties her hair up, either into a single large braid that goes down her back or a pair of braids that hang over each shoulder, all tied with a bow that is either black, blue or purple.
Her eyes are a deep blue-violet with almost invisible flecks of silver within them. Her skin is a pale white, almost silver, that seems to catch the light and so far has no blemishes other than a small scar at the edge of her left eyebrow.
Her stance is always solid and confident, usually standing at attention when idle or sitting with her legs crossed primly. Her face almost always seems expressionless and her gaze steely, though small smiles are common around those she cares for that cause her eyes to sparkle.
Seiko's casual clothes are anything but, usually a blue dress jacket with silver buttons and a dark blue or black pleated skirt down to her knees with tights on underneath. A heavy pair of black combat boots come up to her knees and a white and blue overcloak rests over her shoulders and down to her knees with a large silver brooch at the throat to keep it pinned shut. In addition she usually wears an officer's cap of some variety, usually in white and blue with her family's crest on the front(Three vertical spears through a snowflake).
She doesn't tend to dress up for any form of outing but if she must, she usually wears a pair of silver cuffs and a necklace with a large engraved sapphire on it along with a family signet ring on her left pinky finger and replacing her boots with more conservative black flats and her dress jacket with a nice white shirt and usually blue or purple bowtie.
One thing she is never found without however are her signature pair of glasses, usually with a frame in a striking colour of red, white, pink or sky blue.
Personality: To anyone first meeting with Seiko, she seems impassive, cold and emotionless, almost robotic in nature. Her words are coldly polite, her gaze analysing and ice cold, her mannerisms guarded and proper. For the most part this holds true, she enjoys learning about people, analysing them, seeing just what makes them tick, all the little nuances they have, the tics and tells they possess.
The other part of it is that Seiko is simply very, very bad at expressing her own emotions. Her childhood didn't exactly give her the opportunity to learn how to make friends or how to properly react to situations. Instead she ended up as quite emotionally stunted and mostly analyses people so that she can actually figure out how to properly show emotions and in what situations to use them.
She doesn't suffer fools however, though she can very much tell the difference between someone who has potential and someone who is a lost cause, making her a great candidate for becoming a teacher. She enjoys seeing others become the best they can be and she loves to help people achieve goals so that she can share in their joy and excitement, something that she never truly had while growing up and is very important to her.
When she does warm to someone, she is far more likely to 'test' out emotional responses, even making stone-faced puns or playfully chiding people, though the people she feels comfortable doing this around are few and far between and she is absolutely most comfortable with her cousin; Taigakai.
Biography: Born to a political union between a Kriita'al General and the current Headmaster of a Military Officer's school, Seiko was designed just as much as she was born. Through the ministrations of the Kriita'al alongside metal and life mages in an experiment to create an elementally powerful child, they infused Seiko with magic while in the womb. When she was born they thought that they had done it, after all her body was crafted of flesh-metal, she didn't feel pain like a normal person and life magics didn't really resonate with her very well... Neither did Metal magics... In fact, magic was just kind of strange to her.
Confirmation of the failure came when she was three years old. A wickedly smart child, she was already speaking in full sentences, she was able to grasp abstract concepts, she was reading, she was far beyond her years in intelligence. She was also years ahead in terms of magical prowess. There was only one problem.
She was a Technomancer.
Rather than deem the child a complete failure, her parents however decided to raise her to be as powerful as possible, after all she may not have had the magics they were hoping for but she still had the potential to be both a monstrously powerful Technomancer and a powerful asset to them both.
As she grew up, she faced a heavy regime of training and learning with next to no time to actually be a child or to have fun. It was only later in her life that she realised that while incredibly helpful, it was also incredibly detrimental to her emotional growth. As such, when she came of age she decided to distance herself somewhat from her family and instead took a job of her own decision.
As such, with her intelligence and excellent test results, she not only graduated both Tactician's School but also the Academy at the age of thirteen and then furthered her education before returning to become one of the youngest teachers at the Academy, acing the exams and probation period with flying colours.
