A cool breeze flowed through an open window, sun high in the sky. The weather was warm. Comfortably so. And comfortably kicked back in a chair was a behatted young man. Ty enjoyed the soothing wind with a calm smile. Business had been good. His friends were back in his life. As an added bonus, he was dating an adorable dork. Life was good. Life was better than good, actually. The young punk couldn't actually remember the last time he'd been so... content. Happy, even. Sure, the vibes came and went, but never had he felt so upbeat. Each day was another thing to look forward to.
Thinking about said adorable dork, the punk let out a small hum. It was an off day, neither had to work, and the weather was pleasant. It seemed like the perfect type of day to spend time with one another. Callahan wouldn't be around to bother them either. Well, bother him. As far as Ty was aware, Callahan adored Louise and was happy about their relationship. However, brotherly bonds required frequent pesterings, teasings, ribbings, and general annoyance. Ty understood. He would do the same to Cal. Fuck, he would probably do the same to Luke and Luna. If they ever got off their asses and actually confessed to one another.
World would probably end before that ever happened.
With a comfortable 'fuck it'-shrug, Tyler whipped out his ResLink. Louise was, of course, at the top of his contacts list. If it wasn't stupid flirting, then it was work related shit. Maybe a few memes here and there for good measure. Really spoiled the girl rotten. Part of that was of course due to slight inexperience. He knew how he felt towards the bubble-gum flavored techie, but not how to express it. Gods did he try his best though. It didn't help that Louise was equally as inexperienced as Ty was. The boy shook himself out of his thoughts and finally typed out his message. Enough dilly-dallying.
Yeah that... seemed good. It was hard to judge where the boundaries should be in any given conversation. What he was allowed to say or not say. Ask or not ask. Or even how he should say or ask any of what he wanted to say or ask. Dealing with the lost boys was easier. But casual was good, right? It wasn't like he was being an impassible, emotionless brick wall. Fuck, I'm getting stuck in my own head again. It was hard to shake that habit. Especially when he really didn't want to fuck things up with the techie. Gods, he just wanted to make sure she was happy. But even that seemed like a daunting task.
"It's gonna be alright, shithead." He muttered towards himself. "Just breathe and stop acting like a dumbass. You're doing fine. Just keep it level like you usually do. You're not gonna fuck anything up." Ty yanked his cap off, set it aside, and sighed heavily. All he could do now was stare down at his phone and wait for Louise's response. Maybe this was the thought process she went through when she dealt with people? Always getting locked in a cycle of self doubt. The young punk leaned forwards in his seat. If there was anything he wished for, more than everything else, it was that he could help Louise feel more confident in herself. So that the girl could see herself the way he did.
"Gods dammit, there I go getting stuck in my own head again..."

Ty: Weather's nice today. Wanna hang out? Could go for a walk. Or cuddle up a bit on the couch, throw on a movie, play some games?
Ty: Cal's not gonna be around for a bit, so no worries on him bothering us.
Ty: And by that I mean 'Embarrass me in front of my adorable girlfriend.'
